This light and bright apartment has been recently renovated, furnished and equipped. The decor consists of muted tones of pale beige and white creating a calming atmosphere. You will find 2 comfortable bedrooms and a living room/dining area with an exit to a lovely balcony, where you may choose to have your meals or simply enjoy sitting in the sun. The apartment is located on the second floor of a Jerusalem stone building, in the heart of the German Colony, right off Emek Refaim, yet very quiet all day and night and surrounded by fruit trees. This apartment lends the perfect balance to a Jerusalem vacation: the dynamic city of Jerusalem at your fingertips and the serenity of your home waiting for you after a day of touring!

Location great. Beds were comfortable Three high flights of steps. Finicky plumbing and electrical services. But all workable once the host advised changes in usage. Would have been helpful to know on advanceIt was a fine accommodation and appropriately priced.

I’m really glad to hear that you enjoyed the location and found the beds comfortable. Just for accuracy, I would also like to note that the apartment is on the second floor, with two flights of steps (not three). Regarding the electricity, you are absolutely right to mention it. As in many homes, it’s important not to connect several high-consumption appliances to the same outlet at the same time. This is not something specific to this apartment, but rather a general electrical limitation in many buildings. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience.

A great apartment in a lovely area

The apartment had 2 good sized bedrooms and everything we needed. It was an added bonus having a balcony to sit out on. It was within walking distance of the old city and the owner, Benyamin,was very helpful and very quick to respond to my questions. I highly recommend staying there.

Comfortable and so convenient!

Just steps from Emek Refaim on one side and the “mesilah” on the other, this apartment is exceptionally well positioned! And Benyamin is a great and responsive host. Todah rabba!

Great location

Apartment is on top floor. There are a lot of steps so family with little children and elderly be aware. Great apartment with washer and dryer. Clean but could use a deep cleaning

Lovely 2 BR in the German Colony

This is a clean, pleasant, sunny 2 BR apartment just off of Emek Refaim. The location can't be beat - walkable to everything, including all of the lovely shops and cafe's in the area, as well as the rail-trail built along Bet Lechem. Multiple city buses stop outside the door, and there are two well-stocked supermarkets within two blocks. Can't be beat!

Would definitely stay here again

Benyamin was a fantastic host! He was in constant contact with us, answered questions we had, and even thought to start us off with milk in the fridge and ice cream in the freezer! The place was very comfortable and in a nice location. There were many restaurants up and down the block and no noise at night. We were right near a bus stop which was very convenient for getting around. It was about a 30 minute walk to the kotel and we walked it several times. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay in a terrific apartment in a beautiful location

My wife and I along with our 19 year-old g'son really enjoyed our stay. Our host, Benyamin was incredibly responsive to every one of our questions and really made us feel welcome. The apartment is more spacious than you'd think from the description and the balcony is a huge asset. We used it a lot. The neighborhood is relaxing, convenient to all services and transport and apartment is very well located. We were seated at breakfast at our favorite cafe 4 minutes after walking out our front door. We have no complaints at all and have no difficulty unreservedly recommending this home in Jerusalem. We were very comfortable and we think back about our week long visit very nostalgically.

Perfectly equipped, best location

We stayed in the flat 10 days. Check in was very simple. I had requested kosher implements and Sabbath equipment, which were provided. The flat was very airy and bright. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioning was great, but only necessary one night. There were several sets of towels and bed linens. We purchased RavKav cards and were able to take the bus all over Jerusalem. The bus stop was one block away. There is a good supermarket one block away as well as several dairy and meat restaurants. Nahman's bakery has great borekas and bread. Walking around the German Colony and Baka is wonderful. Benjamin, who manages the apartment, was very accessible and helpful. He stayed in touch with us throughout our stay.

Superb Location

The apartment on Masaryk Street in the neighborhood of Emek Refaim was in one of the best locations in Jerusalem that we ever stayed at. It’s a very beautiful and quaint neighborhood with cafes, very close to bus transportation and also extremely walkable. On Shabbat we enjoyed walking along the lovely promenade right nearby. It’s a peaceful neighborhood as well. The apartment itself was spotless and had all the amenities you could want. The host was so easy to work with and immediately got back to me whenever I had a question. The only issues we had are that the apartment felt a little small for our family (3 teenagers) and the hot water would run out after 2 people showered. Not a major issue if you space out the showers. There were enough beds and they were comfortable. I highly recommend this apartment if you would like a cute, clean home away from home in a lovely part of Jerusalem.

Very comfortable

Property was in an excellent location in a trendy neighborhood. Close to great restaurants, the old city, Mamilla, first station. The neighborhood is beautiful and historic. Owner was really thoughtful and communicated with us to see if everything was okay. He was accommodating with check-in and his binder of notes about the apartment and the neighborhood was super helpful

Great place to stay short or long term!

Benyamin is a wonderful host who answers questions and takes care of problems promptly. This well-equipped apartment is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with close access to restaurants, grocery stores and taxis.

A roomy and comfortable apartment in a lovely area of Jerusalem. It contained everything we needed and was really quiet. Benyamin was really helpful, recommending restaurants and things to do in the area. He was very quick to respond to all my questions. I highly recommend staying there.
