This is an absolutely beautiful unit at Makena Surf. I have stayed at several other units in this resort and this has been the best so far. Maria, the property manager was particularly attentive. 10/10! We definitely would stay here again.

Makena Surf is a great place to stay, just a mile or so away from the major tourist areas. F-204 is fantastic (especially the panoramic view of the ocean), the beach is wonderful and never crowded, the pool is incredible, and we had everything we could need during our stay. If you want to be close to the tourist areas but not in the heart of it, this is the place. Maria is fantastic to work with! Hope to return!

Blissful oceanfront condo with a wonderful host

Modern, spacious, and well equipped corner unit with ocean views on two sides. Two different beaches practically right out the door. Great for swimming and snorkeling. The host, Maria, was incredibly warm, responsive, and helpful--advising us on all the local spots. Looking forward to returning!

Amazing stay and wonderful, well appointed condo. Easy to work with property manager. Location was amazing for snorkeling - coral, turtles, fish just outside your door (with an easy rental of equipment nearby). Without question, the views from this location were spectacular!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. From the moment you walk in and see the views you will be happy you chose this location. Itā€™s a wonderful unit at McKenna Surf. Additionally, the property manager was Remely effective and attentive. My only disappointment was the softness of the bed and the master bedroom however, at the end of the day, I highly recommend this unit.

The property and grounds are beyond beautiful!! 180 degree views from F-204 are spectacular! The condo has all the amenities you could need. Breakfast on the lanai every morning is a must. All of the snorkel boats come to the rocks below the condo. Popular spot to see turtles. I recommend keeping shades pulled during the hot part of the day. The Master can feel a bit warmer than the rest of the condo. The Makena Surf is in a perfect location near restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful corner property facing south, almost over the water, simply spectacular. Super clean house and almost every kitchen utensil you would ever need. A/C worked well, very quiet neighbors, super maintained property, very safe property, need either gate code or key card to be admitted to the property. Will rent again, next time we are in Wailea/Makena!

Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, corner unit with the most beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. Quiet condominium complex with a wonderful pool and an amazing, small gym. You can't go wrong with this place. The only slightly negative would be the living room furniture isn't the most comfortable, but I would rent this place again in a heart beat. Maria was awesome and checked in with us mid-week to make sure everything was going smoothly.

In Paradise Again

Although have visited Maui a number of times over the years, this was my first stay in Makena and we were not disappointed. I spent most of my stay out on the lanai. We had a ringside seat to Mauiā€™s amazing sunsets each and every evening. We dined al fresco always. It was so peaceful that I actually read 4 books, 3 of which in the unitā€™s lending library. If I could read German, there would have been many more. I come from a family of cooks and we did not want for anything in that great kitchen. Especially enjoyed the welcome basket.

From the first moment we walked through the door of F204 we relaxed in every way! Breathtaking views from every window and incredible access to the ocean, pool, BBQ, herb garden and fitness room! The kitchen is beautifully stocked! Alls you need are you favorite foods! The layout and furnishings are beautiful and so comfortable! Best unit in Makena Surf

We've stayed at other Makena Surf units but this is by far our favorite. You can't beat the view of the main lanai plus the second lanai off the master bedroom. The small beach nearest the unit has the best snorkeling we've done on Maui and many tours stop right outside if this unit. All we had to do was swim from the beach with our snorkel gear! The listing didn't mention it, but there are also beach chairs, beach umbrellas and coolers provided as well as plenty of cooler packs in the freezer and a pantry full of essentials for cooking. The larger pool is just right outside of the front door to the unit as well, and it has a close location to the fitness center. Maria managed the property and was very responsive and on top of things if we had any issues. She communicated well before and during our stay. We will definitely be back.

Breathtaking

The is unit has the absolute best location overlooking turtle town. You can literally walk out the door, down a beautifully landscaped paver pathway to the beach access path to the sand within a few minutes. The beach is private and beautiful and once you put your snorkeling gear on you are swimming with the turtles within minutes. The unit is clean, has the best stocked kitchen weā€™ve ever seen, updated bathrooms and kitchen, and has the best views in Maui. Donā€™t be fooled by the amenities of any nearby hotel, the gym and pools of Makena Surf and location to the beach are far better and less crowded than any place youā€™ll find in Wailea. The natural feel of the landscaping at this condo complex is unmatched by any other place around. The views from this unit are unbelievably more spectacular in person than what the photos can show. This is a special place that I wish every person could experience at least once. Mahalo for everything.

This is a lovely second floor unit that sits right on the rocky shore. The location affords great ocean views facing north, south and west and because it is a corner unit it offers panoramic views from the great room/dining area and kitchen. The ocean can be seen from every room except the guest bathroom and guest bedroom that overlooks lush tropical gardens.

The Master bedroom has its own private ocean front lanai (balcony) with incredible ocean views, a King bed and a private bathroom with double sinks and shower heads. The Guest bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to make a King. The condo is fully equipped and includes beach towels, beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use.

Unit was extensively renovated in 2014 (bathrooms and bedrooms) and in 2016 [brand new tile (from the hallway to the great room). The kitchen cabinets were redone (white), brand new stove/oven and new dishwasher. There is a new light green/glass back splash. There are new (Fleetwood) pocket doors (to the lanai), and new (matching) tile in the lanai.] These top notch renovations have made this unit an even more impressive place to see and stay!

You have the choice of Ā½ mile long Po'olenalena beach on the north side of the resort or Chang's beach on the south which is smaller and more secluded. Both offer great swimming, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding and when we get a south swell, surfing. There are showers next to both beaches so you can rinse off after a refreshing dip in the sea.
