Crystal Sands 305A has a comfortable beach influence and a fabulous Gulf front view from a private balcony. The living area offers cozy fish patterned sofas, cottage-style furniture, and tiled floors. The main bedroom displays a light pastel décor and island wicker furniture.

After a relaxing day at the beach, you will find everything you need to make a home-cooked meal in the well-equipped upgraded kitchen. For plenty of dining seating, you will find a glass-top table for four as well as two bar stools at the bar. You will also enjoy the benefit of having a stackable washer/dryer.

THINGS TO KNOW
*POOL: Building A's pool is currently under construction and is projected to be completed by July 2025. Guests are able to use building B's pool next door.*
Beach service is included from May to October.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 3.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Crystal Sands and we love these condos. This one was very nice, lots of space, clean and location is awesome! Love that the beach is private and not many people. We will def be back.

I love the beach!!

Our family has been coming to Crystal Sands for years!!!! We love having a condo on the beach, friendly staff and they way they keep the grounds looking so nice! Sunrises and sunsets are a huge plus toooo!

Nice beach front condo

Clean private beach front condo. Good amenities and very helpful and responsive Vacasa staff. Beach staff was great. I would stay here again. Only flaw is you don’t see the sunset over the ocean of the balcony so we booked a sunset cruise with Guided Sunset Cruise and they were great. Will definitely book here again.

A few hang ups but a nice place

Home was clean and came with lots of books and even extra beach chairs. The washing machine stopped working after one day and even though someone came to look at it, it wasn’t fixed. They left dirty laundry water in the machine the whole week I was there. Was offered a $25 ppd refund “that I could use to wash my laundry at a laundromat”. Just what I want to do, spend hours of my vacation at the laundromat. Doesn’t matter, if they were truthful that refund has had plenty of time to hit my bank, but it hasn’t. Doubt it ever will. Also, if you arrive towards the end of the month, they change the pool and beach gate codes on the 1st and don’t bother to let anyone know.

Loved the location and the unit we stayed in.

The outside of the property looked dirty, old, and run down from the street. The tiny pool was in the parking lot. That being said, inside the unit we rented was clean and nice. The handle on the upstairs toilet was broke, we called and they fixed it immediately. The balcony view was to die for.

What it needs

It was nice, but No forks and the only skillet was not good to cook with, it would burn the food in the center,…and the patio blinds were bad, you can close them to block the sun. Shower curtains need to be replaced. Other than that it was very nice😊

Very dirty

All doors and stairwell were very dirty had to wipe down with lysol and rag the filth came off easily ,baseboards were filthy also,. Smokers next door ruined our time on the balcony..At least the beach was beautiful..

Won’t Return

I’ve vacationed in Destin for 30 years, but I will not be returning to this location. Upon our 4:00 arrival, the cleaning crew was still in the room and requested a few extra minutes to finish up. The downstairs area seemed clean, but there were many things needing updated. The bathroom ceiling showed signs of leaking, doors could be replaced, the shower curtain had mold, and the balcony chairs had holes in them from age.My mother slept upstairs but slept on top of the comforter, as she brought her own blankets. On the morning of checkout we stripped bedding as advised, and my mom discovered a HUGE stain on the sheets. The size of the stain was larger than a basketball. Overall communication wasn’t the best. We were given an incorrect code for the door and we had to call Vacasa to get it changed. The beach gate code was also changed and Vacasa initially informed us that it did not change. We had to walk around the building to gain access to our condo. They eventually called us to give us an updated code for the gate. We love Destin, but we did not love this experience.

Needs TLC

Location is great! First I had to call because VACASA had my check out date wrong. Condo needs TLC!! Kitchen was sparsely stocked(missing forks, spoons, cookie sheet etc). Bed was hard with sheets that had a stain. Door knobs were hard to open. There was no smoke detector that we could see anywhere. Couch was old and worn out. Shelf in freezer and on door of fridge was broken. Would choose another unit at this location next time.

Only positive = the view

Condo is extremely dated and in need of a good deep clean. Upon arrival there was a dirty towel on the kitchen counter and mold stains on the shower curtain. The condo smelt like mildew or mold. I left my trip with chest congestion, which was most likely due to the moldy condo. The check in process was also a headache. There were no parking passes left and had to make three phone calls to get them so my car would not be towed. Do not recommend staying here.
