šŸ–ļø BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach are provided by La Dolce Vita (866-651-1869). Hours are 9 am to 5 pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach on the day of, based on availability. To reserve a beach setup in advance or for more information, please call 866-651-1869 or reserve online.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The view was great. The balcony Adirondack chairs were not very comfortable to sit for any length of time. Perfect location.

Nice unit for a couple alone or with a couple of small kids

Great beach view and view of pool deck and all the daily activity below. Great for relaxing and people watching. Will book again. Pelican Resort has great amenities.

Met all our needs for a week!

This was our 5th time in Destin and Pelican Beach. We have stayed in pricier units and honestly this one met all our needs and expectations and kept us in a more friendly budget. Could have used an extra blanket or 2 but nothing you canā€™t pick up from Walmart. See you in about 6 more months!

The apartment is great, awesome view and great location.

The view is amazing, we could see dolphins swimming from the balcony and it was really beautiful experience. The location is great. The large pool wasnā€™t so warm and the ocean is still chilly. The washer machine and showers may need a maintenance or be replaced. The weekend it was great

Beautiful Views!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and ready on our arrival. The room was great just a few cosmetic updates would help, a little paint and trim work to keep up with but it was not anything that we could not deal with. The property has many amenities and places to enjoy the pools, tiki bar and beach. The room was clean, great size for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. It had the needed cooking utensils and starter care package which was great. The view from the balcony was amazing, we enjoyed coffee in the chairs every morning listening to the waves crashing! We hope to be back again soon, great value!

Comfortable stay with a gorgeous view

The main bed was very comfortable. The only downside is that the shutters on the window into the hallway don't block the light well. The kitchen is good-sized with all necessary items stocked. The couch was okay, but not the most comfortable. Best part was the private balcony that looked out on the beach. The view was incredible. Fortunately, the balcony is set back and protected from the weather, so we were able to enjoy it even though the weather was cold and windy.

Convenient access to beach

We arrived around 4 pm. No issues with check-in. Staff was polite and helpful. Unit easily accessed with code. Unit was a bit dirty and we found medication on the dining table. Beach service is available but should be reserved in advance. Bring extra towels and wash clothes. Washer and dryer available near the unit but they are not clean. Parking available onsite was convenient.

Short stay

We only had an overnight stay and I was honestly glad. The condo was filthy and I would have been super upset if I was staying a week and having my son's young family (2 yr. old granddaughter) come over to visit me which lives in the area and is the reason for our vacation in Destin. Super glad a I booked another home for the remainder of our 10 day stay. I have supporting pictures to back up my statement of just how filthy the unit is. If the unit was to have a major cleaning it'd be an awesome stay.

This unit was clean and convenient. The unit is a small apartment. Not much room for my four children but we made it work. Kitchen was stocked well with lots of cooking pots and pans etc. The shower is spacious and nice. Mirror's make the room look bigger than it actually is. Restaurant on site is only open from 8am to 3pm. They have 2 pools on site. We would definitely stay in this unit again. We only spent 2 nights due to Hurricane Michael.

Absolutely perfect!

The unit was clean and comfortable. It was directly across from the laundry room but we never heard anything. Quiet unit. Elevators were quick. The trash Shute stayed locked the whole time so we couldnā€™t throw trash away. The water was chrystal clear and temp was perfect. Enjoyed the tiki hut drinks. The only negative was the beach space was tight. Since it is a private beach all the chairs and umbrellas were very close together. It was hard to even walk between the umbrellas and you pretty much sat with strangers. We would stay here again!

Beautiful View

This is going to be long Pros: Iā€™ll start with the resort itself first. The location was perfect! The property is very secure. My husband and I felt safe the entire time we were on the property. The workers are nice. There is a cafe and tiki bar on-site. Both are great! Beware ice for coolers are scarce. Once they are out, they donā€™t get anymore until the next day. This is the second time weā€™ve stayed at this resort and the first time with this owner. Now the condo itself. The view from the balcony is beautiful! This condo is on the 5th floor and the pool is right below. It closes at 5 so there isnā€™t any noise at night. I pleasantly surprised to see there was no carpet in the condo even though the pictures show there is. Cons: The condo floor was covered in sand when we got there. I know itā€™s hard to get it all but the other condos weā€™ve stayed in, the floor was much cleaner. The shower head in the master bath is disgusting, there is mold on it. Gross. If you are tall, youā€™ll have to squat down some to use the shower head. My husband is 6ā€™2 and had to use the other bathroom because he couldnā€™t stand the other shower. There was hair in the sink and on the counter when we got there. Also gross. When they say they donā€™t supply much, they mean it. 2 trash bags in the place, one roll of paper towels, no salt or pepper, no scissors, barely any dishes, and no extra blankets. The quilt on the master bed is very thin. The couch is not comfortable and very small. The balcony furniture is very low to the ground so youā€™re staring through the rails the whole time you sit out there. I had a question about check in and I sent a message 6 hours before we were set to arrive and didnā€™t get a response from the owner until like 3 days later so that was very annoying. Not good communication at all. When we first got there, the refrigerator was not very cold. Iā€™m not sure if they unplug it and then plug it back up when a new renter is coming. Either way it took 4 hours before it was actually a good temperature for a fridge. The next time we come to Destin, we will be going through a private owner and not a company owner. Our experience with a private owner was much better than this one unfortunately.
