Crystal Sands East & West is an intimate, quiet property located directly on the beach and offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico from private balconies. This condo faces the award-winning soft, sugar-white sandy beaches for which the Emerald Coast is known. Plus, with beach equipment rentals, fun in the sun is mere steps away at this ideal spot for a beach vacation to Northwest Florida. You'll have hall bunks, a whirlpool bath, a stacked washer/dryer, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Special property amenities include a seasonally heated pool, a beach boardwalk, and an outdoor shower. Conveniently located near the heart of Destin, you'll also find plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment fit for every family member.

*POOL: Building A's pool is currently under construction and is projected to be completed by July 2025. Guests are able to use building B's pool next door.*

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

No complaints. Right on the beach, 1st floor. Everything needed was in the unit. And it was very clean. If I have 1 complaint it would be to clean the bathtub drain, the water pooled in the tub when showering. But would definitely go back and recommend!

Excellent getaway

This was our first ocean front condo. It did not disappoint us. Property managers checked in on us and took care of a couple minor little things right away. Great place would stay again.

Highly recommend

Overall very satisfied with our stay! It is a nice condo with plenty of room for our family of three and guests that wanted to visit. It is in the perfect location. We saw dolphins in the ocean from our balcony!

We bought groceries on the way to condo and when we arrived the fridge was not cold and our groceries went bad. We reached out multiple times but it was never addressed. The bathroom also has mold growing.

AMAZING CONDO ON THE BEACH !

This condo is perfect for a beach getaway. The location is fabulous right in the middle of Destin, but secluded enough away for privacy. the back sliding glass door opens directly up to the Sandee beaches of Destin, and they fabulous condo was clean and fully stocked for anything I needed in the kitchen. we will return!!! Highly recommend !

Tub area sits between the two bathrooms, has jets, jets were NOT clean, had slimy black build up in them. Cloth shower curtain had mold on it. One panel of the blinds was missing, which was an issue since this unit is on the ground floor. Overall cleanliness of the rest of the unit was fine. Vacasa fixed the jet & blind issue, i had to purchase a cheap shower curtain the first night so I could shower that night.

The perfect spot on the beach

We are returning renters for this property . Our past experience was so amazing we had to rebook and go again ! It’s the perfect spot right on the condo boardwalk . Literally open your back door and walk out to your chair on the beach and enjoy !!! Very easy check in upon arrive and secure with keypad entry for condo as well as the outdoor heated pool ! Since our last visit the condo has updated their appliances and has new dishes !! Which are amazing !! There were no problems with the old ones , but it’s so nice to see updates when you walk in ! It’s the “ little touches “ that are the best. The bed is so comfy and the bunk beds for our children were perfect !! Its location couldn’t be any better , you are close to the grocery stores, shopping and amazing food , and far enough away to be secluded and private . We absolutely love this place and will be going back soon!! Highly highly recommend !

Not cleaned well and in need of attention from a repair person.

When we arrived, the couch was still covered with sand, as well as the floor throughout the unit. We were going to clean it ourselves with the unit's included vacuum cleaner, but that was broken (missing one prong on the plug). They did send someone to clean the couch later and it was cleaned acceptably. The ceiling fan's pull string was broken, meaning we couldn't use it for the duration of our stay. They did send someone to try to fix it but they were unable to put a new pull-string on it or get it turned on for us. The kitchen had no forks, only spoons and knives, and the Kuerig coffee maker made coffee that tasted rotten, making me question if they are ever cleaned. Ours at home with the same pods tasted normal so its the only reason I can think of this would be the case. I guess while I'm mentioning broken things, the wall clock had a hand that was broken off, which I really dont care about, but is indicative of amount of care put into maintaining the place. I wouldn't recommend this unit.

OK, but ...

The kitchen needs to be restocked. There was no frying pan and 4 plates. More silverware would be nice also. The patio needs more comfortable chairs also. The table and chairs were extremely uncomfortable and the folding beach chairs were ready to fall apart. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The 1st floor in this complex is the way to go!!

Location

First the bad. This is a first floor condo. I’m not sure that its like this in every case or we just got lucky. The noise coming from the condo above was borderline unbearable. I contacted Vacasa and in turn they contacted the property manager who advised that I just call the cops. We have kid and can understand to a certain degree but this was on another level. It sounded as if a marching band was holding practice from sun up to 11:30 at night. I wish Vacasa or property management would have stepped in and gave the above tenants a warning (much like a hotel does if they get noise complaints). This whole ordeal really made it difficult to enjoy our stay and we actually ended up leaving a day early. You can tell that its an investment vacation rental property because the little things are overlooked like lightbulbs burnt out or missing. TV was old and didn't work real well. Internet was pretty slow. Toilet seats were very loose and about to fall off (little things like that). Now the good. The condo was spotless when we arrived. Very clean. Kitchen has everything we would want or need for anything. Air Conditioning was top notch. Water pressure was amazing and never seemed to run out of hot water. The views from the condo where amazing and the private patio off the boardwalk with beach access were exceptional. This condos view and easy access to a private beach are the hero elements. The property cleans the boardwalk and beach shower area daily. The beach service has chairs and umbrellas set up and ready to go in the early a.m. Im giving this stay a 4/5 because I wish we would have had some more help with dealing with the renters above, who put a pretty big damper on our stay. If not for that we would definitely be giving a 5/5 and we would still stay here again with our fingers crossed that we would have better neighbors on the next trip. P.S. parking was awesome. Plenty of spaces all close to the building.
