Luxury Family home built in 2006.Finished to High Standard.
Stay in Our Large Modern home with Covered terrace, set in the Limousin National Park, set in 1.5 acres. Ample private parking. Large garden laid to lawn plenty of space for football, table tennis, badminton, swingball. Patio area with grass leading onto a 10 x 5m graduated Salt swimming pool with steps leading to shallow end, ideal for small children as it's 90cm deep. Large gas BBQ with eating area for Alfresco Dining.
Large fitted kitchen with SMEG oven with 6 gas rings and double oven with rotisserie.Separate electric oven also a wood burning cooker, Fully equipped with all modern appliances, dishwasher,microwave, coffee machine etc. TV.
Utility room with 15kg washing machine, Fridge/Freezer.
Built in store cupboards.
Large family bathroom with Large shower cubicle, Luxury SPA bath with LED colour changing lights built in MP3 player so you can relax whilst listening to your music, toilet and hand basin.
Large open plan dining room, lounge with flat screen TV with satellite for Sky and French Channels, DVD player with surround sound system. Wood burning fire. Two sets of patio doors, one leading onto terrace, the other onto the outside dining, patio and pool area.
Large collection of DVD and CDs.

Bedroom 1 (25 sqm)sleeps 2. En suite shower, toilet and hand basin, Flat screen TV with Sky Channels, DVD player, Double wardrobe,matching units. Patio doors leading out onto the Front Terrace.
Bedroom 2 (19sqm) sleeps 2.TV with Sky Channels, DVD surround sound. Double wardrobe and matching units. Window to rear.

A beautiful home with excellent facilities

This is a very lovely home, equipped to an extremely high spec, and backed up with a very welcoming host in Jackie. We had slightly disappointing weather but the provision of extras like Netflix kept us entertained. Weather it's the excellent outdoor gas grill or the wonderful kitchen facilities, this is a wonderful rental for those who are happy to cook for themselves and are looking to really relax in comfort for a few days. Thank you.

Wonderful holiday ‘home from home’

This really is a home from home with all that you need for a comfortable holiday. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped. The bathroom and en-suite are fab with all mod cons. There’s even an accessible loo when using the pool. There’s plenty of outdoor furniture to enable you to make the most of the pool, veranda and garden with its 360 degree views. There are 2 bbq’s depending on whether you prefer gas or briquettes. It really does have it all! Jackie and Andy were so welcoming and even left us with a selection of essentials to help us to settle in - bread, beer, eggs etc They also encouraged us to help ourselves to anything that was ripe in their garden so we had fresh raspberries, tomatoes chillis and beetroot. Amazing! We wanted a relaxing holiday and were happy to be self sufficient so this house was perfect. The local Inter-Marche at Chalus was a 7 minute drive away and has everything that we required shopping wise, during our stay.

Outstanding property!!

Many thanks to Jackie for being so welcoming. The photographs of this property do not do it justice (and they look good). This property is impeccable and has everything you need and much more in terms of equipment. Massive bonus to have a TV and Sky in every room, as well as reliable broadband and connectivity to Netflix in the main living room. Great bathroom which includes a spa bath. If the inside was not enough, the outside was just as good with a very long veranda spanning the full length of the property, equipped with barbecues (one gas, one charcoal), fully lit up and a great space to relax on an evening with a glass of wine (or two!). Then of course, the outdoor heated pool which we used every day bar one when it was raining. Plenty of space in the massive garden area with swingball, a hammock, as well as its own stock of fruit and veg!! - which Jackie welcomed us to use (tomato's, chilli's, peppers, grapes and raspberries!!!). We all really enjoyed this property which sits just outside the quiet village of Bussiere-Galant. We have stayed in many 'Gites' over the years in France, both in the north and south and with hand on heart we can say this is one of the best, if not the best, we have stayed in. Simple reason is this...... it's not a Gite, it's actually the owners main residence that they rent out in the summer. This is why the property has absolutely everything inside and out. If we vacation in the Limoges area in the future, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. A credit to the owners and many thanks for being so welcoming. Sean, Angela and Adam.
