The property is in a perfect location just a 3 minute walk away from the high end of the uptown strip. Fair warning: The view is almost completely obscured by an enormous tree. You can get a little bit of a view if you sit at the table that’s off to one side, but if it’s an unobstructed panoramic view of Sedona that you’re after, then this isn’t your room. However, the patio that was available to us DID have a breathtaking panoramic view and we were the only ones there every time we went to use it, it was just perfect. No crowds, no noise, just views for days. We would have coffee there in the morning and it was divine. My husband likes a stiff mattress and I hate it. The mattress was extremely stiff and it was very hard for me to sleep on, I had to stack pillows underneath myself, and it’s enough of a deal breaker for me that I wouldn’t stay again without a mattress topper of some kind. My hubby did just fine. It’s just a matter of personal preference, and it shouldn’t stop anyone else from renting here unless that’s really important to you. If you like a soft mattress to sink into, you won’t get that. If you like a very firm, supportive mattress, you’ll be quite happy. The room is clean, adorable, and perfect for a short stay. It’s quite small and only has accommodations for 2, I would have been uncomfortable had it been more than the pair of us, but it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. It’s elevated enough that I wasn’t worried about people being able to see us through the windows. We used the coffee maker and the fridge and they were great, the kitchenette is extremely useful and was also very stylish. It is well stocked. The bathroom is teeny tiny with no counter space, but there’s a hook next to the sink to hang an organizer so you have a place for your things. Plenty of clean towels and necessary toiletries. We didn’t care about fancy bathrooms, it was perfectly adequate. Overall, I would definitely recommend the property, especially if you’re looking for a private patio with a beautiful view and a convenient location near shopping. We couldn’t figure out the a/c and the owner was easy to reach and came to the room himself and got it going for us while we were out at lunch, which we really appreciated.
