Looking for convenience and comfort? our modern, newly renovated condo is it. This our 2nd unit and this gated condo communities is located in the heart of downtown Birmingham-Southside. Only 10 min. walk to UAB campus and UAB Hospital-Highlands, clinics and more. 3 min. walk to Dream Land BBQ, Zyp Bike, etc. Short walk to great restaurants, shopping & nightlife in Five Points South. Plus FREE off street parking that are rare to find in downtown. Beautiful, clean and great location!
This is a very nice, clean, and fully equipped-furnished condo. A chance for at-home feel for the price of a hotel. Hotel like treatment:
-Large bedroom holds KING sized bed that comfortably sleeps 2 adults, Clean and comfortable bed sheets, pillows, duvets. All mattresses covered with high quality mattress pads. - Three size towels, 3 in 1 shampoo/body wash soap, hair dryer, etc provided. Lots closet spaces in the hall and living room, large walking closet space in the bedroom with hangers and hanging organizers . The convertible sofa transitions between a sofa and a queen-sized sleeper with ease.
- Central AC/heating
- Free premium speed wifi and smart TV
- Dining area
- Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, rang stove & fan hood, dish washer, microwave, toaster, kettle, 12 cups drip coffee maker, cookware, pots&pans, dinnerware & utensils, sugar and cream, napkins, paper towels, trash bags, etc.
- Private bathroom with large tub/shower. Hair dryer provided
- Large walk-in closet attached to the bedroom and many storage closet space provided
- Covered balcony over look the pool with large glass sliding door access from dinning room. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the evening sunset.
-Gated, Off street parking lot are free to all our guests. This is rare to find in the city.

Comfy peaceful getaway

I had a great experience with my stay at this location. The host was so easy to work with and very attentive to making her guests feel comfortable and have everything they may need. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a wonderful experience. I would definitely rent again.

It worked but was frustrating

It took us an hour to get in because the owner had changed the lock box and code, but forgot to tell me. We could not get a hold of her for an hour. Once she got back to me we got right in. They had just had a plumbing leak in the kitchen. I know they replaced the dishwasher, but the solution for the water leak was to put a rubber mat down on the floor to cover up the water. Needless to say after a day it started to smell really bad as water was trapped under it. I took the mat out onto the porch, but water then squished out every time you walked on the floor. It smelled really bad. I woke up with a headache every day from the musty/mold smell. Lastly, the listing says there is a washer and dryer, but does not mention that it is a coin operated system in the basement. We had planned on washing clothes, but due to the inconvenience of watching our clothes wash and lack of time, we ended having to purchase new clothes.

Hi Luke: Thank you very much for your candid review of your recent stay at our condo. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with each and every stay. I am sorry our condo did not meet your expectation at this time. For check in, our lock box code does changes for security reason but if you would have checked the Welcome Guide and followed the check in instruction, you would have not had delay. You messaged on my cell phone was not best way to get quick response and it said clearly on listing that we preferred you to contact us on vrbo messages. Prior to your check in, I have messaged you that we had water leaks at kitchen floor that we just found out after our last guest checked out, you may have had the option to cancel the reservation at the time, but you went ahead stayed. We also had plumber rescheduled to do the repairs after you checked out because you did not want to be bother during your stay that we understood and respected that. The good news is that water leaks has been fixed right after you checked out. For the washer and dryer, it seems you have not read our listing regarding it, it said clearly it was laundry room and we also had picture listed. There were not picture showing inside of our unit that had washer and dryer. We always encourage guests to read our entire listing before making the reservation so you can expect everything. We will welcome you back to stay at our other properties that had washer and dryer in unit and I will be personally assist you for checking in.
