Welcome to our Hilltop Haven! Whether you would like swim in the turquoise waters of beautiful Glen Lake, relax on the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, climb the majestic Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Sand Dunes, bike the Heritage Trail, hike Pyramid Point, hit the ski slopes or enjoy the beautiful fall colors on a wine tour, our home is perfectly located to enjoy all that amazing northern Michigan has to offer all year long.

Our spacious home is ideal for multiple families wanting to stay together to create a lifetime of memories. Glen Lake is at the end of our street (5 houses up) with lake access at the road end. Tons of beautiful beach options within ten minutes. Launch a kayak or SUP. We have two bikes here for use as well. Close to downtown Glen Arbor (less than 10 minutes), Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, the Heritage Trail. 25 minutes to Traverse City for the Traverse City Film and Cherry Festivals. So much to see and do!

Updated home can accommodate a large family, two or three families or a group. Sleeps up to 16 (8 beds even though home page says 7-will not update). On the main level is the kitchen, dining area, living room, guest half bathroom, laundry, master bedroom #1, master bath, walk-in closet, and guest bedroom #2, access to front and back patios. Lower level are bedrooms #3 and #4, full bath, rec room and walk-out to the front yard. Outside backyard includes dining and seating areas for enjoying the beautiful summer and autumn evenings, grill, additional seating area with fire pit, elevated camping area in woods with a second fire pit. Please put out fire after use with sand in metal tin. New appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, disposal, microwave, counter-top stove and oven. Air conditioning. Great kitchen and pantry. Big bathrooms and showers.

For safety and security, please be advised there is an outdoor security camera but NOT in the entertaining areas, video only. NO events please. Absolutely NO smoking on the property. Please be respectful of neighbors. NO pets. You will be asked to leave premises if these house rules are broken.

Amazing home - it was close to everything we wanted to do (wineries, sleeping bear dunes, traverse city). The house was stocked better than any vrbo we’ve stayed at before and great communication from the hosts. We had plenty of space for our group of 14 and would 10/10 recommend to anyone. Thanks for a special weekend!

Family group stay

We stayed at the house for our son’s wedding and the location was conveniently between Glen Arbor and Empire. We had a large family group staying at the house and it was very comfortable. We had a drone so we took some arial shots!

This is a great house for a large family, very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Host was very responsive via text message . Location was great for exploring the Leelanau Peninsula. Had a great week in August of 2025.

We recently stayed at this property for six nights while in Michigan. The location was excellent peaceful, quiet and a great base for visiting Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We liked the amenities, esp the water gear and hammocks.We did encounter maintenance and cleanliness issues. When we arrived, there was a strong musty odor, especially in the basement. We discovered standing water in the basement storage room. The host responded by sending a plumber the next afternoon, the issue was resolved, but the smell was noticeable throughout the week.We were disappointed by the overall cleanliness. We found hair on the sheets in the basement beds! We had to change the sheets on the six basement beds the first night. There was also a large clump of hair on the basement bedroom floor and desk in that room. We did vacuum, but the vacuum was so clogged with hair that it wouldn’t pick anything up.The water heater wasn’t working the first night, so the kids had to take cold showers until the pilot lights were relit. We also learned that the water pressure drops while the sprinklers run (6:30–7:00 a.m)which was a frustrating surprise to learn on the morning we were trying to leave early for Mackinac Island, as no one could shower during that time.The grill on the back patio would only heat to 250 degrees, and we planned to grill a lot. The host let us know there was a second grill in the garage, which worked well. Our host was responsive and made an effort to fix the issues

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you recognizing our beautiful location, amenities, and that we responded promptly whenever you contacted us. In hosting countless families over the years and receiving more than 100 five-star reviews across multiple booking platforms, this is the first time we’ve received comments like these regarding cleanliness, odors, or many of the maintenance concerns mentioned. While unexpected maintenance issues beyond the control of the host can occasionally arise in any home, we addressed each item as soon as we were made aware of it by sending a plumber, helping restore the water heater (which just needed the pilot light relit as they were both newly installed), and directing you to our second grill so your vacation could continue with minimal disruption. The sprinklers run for 15 minutes and there are multiple showers at the home so at a loss how that meant none of you could shower that morning. We take cleanliness very seriously and were surprised by the comments, as our home is professionally cleaned and routinely receives excellent feedback from guests. We also continually inspect and maintain the property between stays. We appreciate all guest feedback and use it to improve. Our goal has always been to provide a responsive, enjoyable experience, and we encourage future guests to please read the many reviews that reflect the consistently positive experiences families have had staying with us including the cleanliness of the home.

Great Family Trip

Enjoyed being close to Glen Lake and time on the water. Glen Arbor is a quaint town. Took a long day trip to Mackinac Island. MI is a beautiful state and we had a great relaxing time with our family.

The check-in process was easy and flawless. The kitchen was well appointed with all of the necessary cookware, utensils and spices.The dishwasher broke, but Reham was quick to compensate us for the inconvenience.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the convenient walk to Glen Lake, great ice cream at the conner party store, French restaurant at end of the street. We highly recommend.

Wonderful family getaway!

My family and I had a fabulous stay! We stayed at Enrico’s property for a week while we were in town for a family wedding. The house was absolutely beautiful. Fit all 14 of us comfortably. Enrico was also extremely responsive to all questions we had during our stay and responded within minutes. We highly recommend staying at this property for a family getaway!!

A wonderful week in NoMi!

Great Family Vacation House

This was our first experience with VRBO, and it turned out great. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us. The location is very convenient to lots of attractions such as hiking, kayaking, beaches, Sleeping Bear, and Traverse City. The game room was a big hit when we weren't out and about. Check-in was smooth and efficient. Communication with the hosts was clear and timely. Overall, a great place for a family vacation.

Family reunion.

The house was exactly as shown in the photos, large, well stocked, clean and updated. The managers were available for questions. We loved the house. Is is a 5 minute walk from Settlers Park which is the beach access accross from a main road so that is the only drawback but we knew that prior to renting the house.

So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Hope you had a wonderful family reunion. Just an FYI there is lake access at the end of the street so hopefully if you come back you won't need to walk to the park next time. Family get together

We really liked the open concept of kitchen, dining area and living room area. It was nice to have the indoor entertaining activities like pool table, ping pong downstairs so you could still talk and visit upstairs. We took advantage of the fire pit and made s’mores, while enjoying the outdoors. We did walk down to beach several times and took advantage of the ice cream shop on way back.

Northern Michigan is one of the most beautiful, most majestic places on earth. We have both grown up enjoying the beauty of this place and making memories with our families and we want the same for you. Our home is large enough for families to stay together and create memories of their own. Our home is down the street from Glen Lake. There is a public access area there for swimming as well as an another park/beach which is less than a 10 minute walk perfect for swimming, BBQs, picnics and a playground. We have a pool table, foosball, ping pong table, 2 big decks with BBQ grill for all your entertaining needs. We also have four bicycles, three kayaks and a standup paddle board for use. Less than 10 minute drive to downtown Glen Arbor & 25 minutes to beautiful Traverse City. House is NOT on the water, but just down the street, 5 houses up. Lots of Lake MI beach options within 10 minutes.
