The Standard cabin at EarthSong Lodge is perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Clean comfortable cabins have one double bed and private bathroom with amenities. Located on the open tundra above the treeline, away from the noise and crowds at the Park Entrance. We are an excellent alternative to the commercial tourism found at most parks. Unique, quiet, authentic, and scenic spot offers the best of Denali. Please note: There is NOT a refrigerator or microwave in the cabin. There is a communal refrigerator and microwave you will be more than welcome to use during your stay!

Cute cabin in great area near Denali Park. This is a great location if you want to be near the park without being in the touristy area right outside of the park. Breakfast at the cafe on-site was fantastic. Check in was easy. Our night there was quiet and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Our host Ty, was very welcoming and friendly to us. Our cabin was very clean and cozy and the shower was great. The view from the cabin was beautiful. We will be back!!

Charming. The hosts have created a place that radiates peace. Great spot for both overnight or a longer stay. The coffee shop on the property has wonderful cinnamon rolls and is named after a beloved dog, Henry.

Perfect property 20 minutes from Mt. Mckinley National Park. The cabins are about 200 square feet with a comfortable bed, hot shower and indoor toilet. Decent wifi, no TV. The coffee shop on site has delicious breakfasts and the staff are amazing

Adorable and relaxing!

We loved Earthsong! The property is adorable and the cabins are so comfortable. Ty greeted us when we arrived and made us feel at home. Everything from the library yurt to the coffee bar cinnamon rolls was absolutely perfect. Could not recommend more!

This was a small rustic cabin. Well maintained and quiet. Sort of off the beaten path. Do not expect the Marriott. The coffee shop near by was excellent.

Very cute little cabin for 2 was just right. I only stayed one night but I would stay longer. All employees were very friendly. Very cute little coffee house. (Henry"s)

My sister and I loved our two night stay at EarthSong. The cabins are clean, quiet and comfortable. The property is beautiful; mountain backdrops, colorful yards with flowers, trees, and cozy spots dining spots to sit outside and read a book. They provide a community kitchen for coffee, refrigeration and microwave. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely individual cabin away from the busy Park

This cabin was 20 miles away from Denali National Park in a quiet area 4 miles off the main highway. Very nice cabin that was clean and comfortable. Out in nature to enjoy the peaceful surroundings but the comfort of home. Comfortable bed. A great place to relax after a long busy day at the Park. The coffee shop has great made to order breakfast. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Quite a nice place, we just needed internet for relaxing in the evening after all the day time activities….we were able to download movies at the hotel down the street!

Thanks Martha for the great review. We've battled our wifi issues for a while, and this summer is no exception. When the provider technicians come out and work for hours and still can't figure things out, you know it's a bit beyond our control! Our wifi is usually just fine on the property, and is back up again but unfortunately it wasn't when you are around. Glad you were still able to have a good time!

Wonderful spot

Highly recommend. We were lucky enough to get cabin 14 which was a little separated from the rest of the bunch. We were also right by the coffee house! Everything was wonderful including the ease of check-in and location. The space is perfect for two people and we have no complaints. My only recommendation would be if you have a sensitive neck like me, consider bringing your own pillow! Will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Perfect!

We loved staying away from the crowds, but still close to the park. The staff was warm, attentive, friendly, and gave us great tips about extra hikes and sites. We felt like personal guests. Ty knew our names and asked about details of our trip each day. Henry’s coffeehouse provided a great breakfast each day before we set out on our adventures, and having the option to request a packed lunch as well as access to other food was a great perk. There were so many great indoor and outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy nature. It was exactly the home-base we wanted while exploring the beauty of Alaska!

Quirky but comfortable.

It was clean and quite. The bed was comfortable. Odd things like the floor is uneven and pretty small shower but there was hot water and a flush toilet. Here in Alaska I've learned to celebrate the little things. The first night I heard a pack of wolves in the distance obviously either catching prey or fighting over the kill. Pretty cool... and eerie!

Hi Douglass, thanks for the kind review. Living on the open permafrost tundra above treeline comes with some unique challenges, and level floors are one of them! We are surrounded by state land, which in turn is surrounded on three sides by National Park land. And the state land is known as the Wolf Townships. Not surprised that you heard wolves...

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Earthsong Lodge, and it was the perfect basecamp for our Denali trip. After long days of hiking and exploring, returning to our cozy cabin was such a treat—it gave us a quiet, comfortable space to clean up, relax, and get a great night's rest.The property itself is charming. Amanda has created a quaint, thoughtful cabin community filled with beautiful flowers, small water features, and unique hand-built structures that give the whole place a tranquil, local feel.A few highlights from our stay: Incredible Views & Sunsets: The cabins offer gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, and we were treated to some absolutely stunning Alaskan sunsets right from our cabin! The Onsite Coffee House: A huge bonus! Having quality coffee and delicious breakfast options ready to go right on the property made starting our mornings effortless. Prime Location: The lodge is a scenic 29-minute drive to the Denali Visitor Center. You get the peace and quiet of Healy while being just minutes away from plenty of restaurants, stores, and gas stations along the main road. On top of it all, Amanda was a fantastic host. She sent detailed, super helpful info about the surrounding area before we even arrived and was incredibly accommodating when our travel schedule resulted in a late check-in.We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay near Denali. Highly recommended—we'd love to stay here again!

Jon and Karin Nierenberg own EarthSong Lodge, and built everything on the property. Ex-park ranger and dog sled guide and expedition leader, Jon has been in this area since 1982, homesteading just a few miles north of the lodge. Karin moved to Alaska in 1990, and together they built the lodge in 1996. Both have a love of the area and Alaska, and the lodge is a way to share that love of the park with guests from all over the world.

Staying at EarthSong allows a visitor to get the best from their short visit to Denali, and have accommodations that are more than just a bed to sleep in. Rather, EarthSong has been an important part of our past guests stay. Our staff is well-versed on the park, and are happy to help guests plan activities from hiking to rafting to flightseeing. Our sled dog kennels have been a consistent favorite and are the best sled dogs in the state. We are more than just a few cabins, but rather an experience, and one that is uniquely Alaskan.
