The cottage, built in 2003, is part of the Testa's family property. The cottage is located in at 10,000 sqm. property along with a larger guesthouse.
Both the guest and the family are waiting for their families and the guests may need to stay in the guest house. provide guests with welcome drinks or cocktails upon arrival) Also the property is one of the following: on a "fist-time" tour or propose the best itineraries and amenities, as well as work out sightseeing itineraries, recommend restaurants and routes on a daily basis.
The property is provided with an orchard with fruit trees and vegetables. Sometimes guests will find a bowl of fruits and vegetables in front of the cottage door in the morning to be Used For Their breakfast or main meals (plums, apricots, or salad, tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, French beans, etc).
We are well served by public transports (bus and urban train) to go down to Rome (1. 5 km). Also grocery, butcher, laundrette, general shops are 500 m far from the cottage. Two malls 5 minutes drive. The Olgiata Golf Club (18 holes), one of the oldest and most famous in Italy, is 5 minutes drive from our house.
f you are looking for some absolute relax, the lakes will be your best choice (Anguillara, Trevignano, Bracciano are marvelous towns located around the lake of Bracciano)!
Anche our cottage can be used as a basis to make a one-day trip to Florence or to Naples. You will take a nice break in the pool the next day! Our Mini Villa is very close to the 18 holes GOLF COURSE OF OLGIATA That is only 4 km far away.

Rome has apprx. Average 218 sunshine days per year Which is very good for light therapy in winter.
We suggest to book in advance your visit to the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Palazzo Valentini (Domus Romae) and Domus Aurea !!!!
We strongly suggest a visit to Ostia Antica as well as Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este in Tivoli. Colossem to visit the Museums and the Vaitican anche you can park in the train station lot onlu That is 1.5 kilometers far away the cottage and take the train Which leads to the metro. The price of the train ticket is 1,00 Euro only valid for 75 minutes Also for the metro !!!
Dayly ticket costs only 4 euros. The Testa's Cottage of Rome has air conditioned as well.
