The Green Door on Lake Avalon is a private walk-out basement apartment with beautiful lake views from every window. This is a fully private walk-out suite — your own entrance and outdoor area — ideal for uninterrupted rest and relaxation.

If navigating slopes and multiple steps is difficult, this space may not be the best fit.

Sunsets here are something special — whether you're watching from inside or relaxing on the chair swing, the view and sounds of nature are unforgettable.

Inside, you’ll find a clawfoot tub for a vintage-style soak — perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine.
The kitchenette, cleverly tucked into a cabinet, includes a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven/air fryer, and a plug-in induction cooktop with a pan provided. A small fridge, dishwasher, and basic dishware are also available.

The apartment has one bedroom and a convertible couch in the living area, allowing space for up to four guests. A washer and dryer are provided for your convenience.

Please note: the home’s upper level is occupied by your host, but the spaces are securely separated. You may occasionally hear footsteps, but I aim to keep things quiet and respectful of your privacy.

The driveway is steep, and guests will walk down a lit pathway with steps to reach the wrap-around deck and private entrance.

If you’d like lake access, I’ll be happy to request guest passes on your behalf. This is a private POA lake, and passes must be arranged in advance using each guest’s first and last name and email address. A small lake use fee (currently $6/day) is required and can be paid at The Beach, just a 5-minute drive away.
