In every village there are weekly markets, where you can buy fresh fruit, meat and fish. The markets are an experience, even if you don't want to buy anything. Here you can really immerse into the atmosphere of Spanish life. Everything you need can be found near Villa Kawasaki. There are a multitude of great hiking trails, allowing you to familiarise yourself with the Spanish landscape. You can also do this on a mountain bike, on horseback or by car. For the kids, it's often a dream come true going to a water park. Luckily, there are a few of these along the Costa Brava. One is Waterworld in Lloret de Mar, a large park with spectacular water slides. Marineland in Blanes, a water park and Dolphinarium in one! The fast rides and impressive dolphin shows make this park perfect for the whole family. There's also Aquadiver in Playa d'Aro, a very child-friendly water park, suitable for young children! There is much to be found in the Girona area regarding the history of the Costa Brava. The city Girona alone is worth seeing. With all its ancient alleyways and cottages, and the Jewish neighbourhood Calle de la Forc, are enough to fill a day's worth of revisiting the past. The castles are also worth seeing, for example, there is the castle Salvador Dali gifted to his wife, for her to spend her final years in, in which now you can enjoy a delicious dinner.
