Welcome to Andreaā€™s Placeā€”a spacious, dog-friendly coastal retreat offering 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and accommodations for up to 10 guests. Located on the right side of a duplex, this home boasts a beautiful ocean view and convenient access to a community poolā€”everything you need for a memorable beach vacation.

On the main level, youā€™ll find a bright and open living space featuring the kitchen, dining area, half bath, and welcoming living room. Relax on the deck with ocean views or enjoy movie nights with cable TV. The living room also includes a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Head upstairs to the third floor, where three bedrooms and two full bathrooms await. The primary suite features a king bed, private ocean-view balcony, and en-suite bathroom. Down the hall, you'll find a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, a full-size washer and dryer, and two additional large bedroomsā€”one with a queen bed and vaulted ceiling and the other with two twin beds.

The ground floor offers a private fourth bedroom with a queen bed and its own full bathroomā€”perfect for guests seeking extra privacy.

Parking is available for two vehicles in the driveway. Additional parking cannot be accommodated on the property or in the grass, as unauthorized vehicles will be towed. If traveling with more than two vehicles, please refer to the Local Info & FAQs for alternative parking locations.

Just a two-minute walk takes you to public beach access, and youā€™ll find the Kure Beach Pier only two blocks away. The community pool sits directly behind the home for easy access. Please note the pool is managed by an external HOA; unexpected closures do not qualify for refunds or discounts.

Dog Policy & Local Beach Rules:
While this home welcomes dogs, the Town of Kure Beach enforces the following:
- No dogs on the beach April 1 ā€“ September 30
- Leashed dogs allowed October 1 ā€“ March 31
- Guests must carry a waste bag or container at all times and produce it upon request from enforcement personnel.
- Year-round, dogs are allowed on the beach at:
Freeman Park (north end of Carolina Beach)
Fort Fisher State Recreation Area (just south of the house)

- In Carolina Beach, leashed dogs are permitted on the beach before 9am and after 5pm April 1 ā€“ September 30, and are welcome at all times during the off-season.

Bike Safety:
The Kure Beach Police Department requires helmets for all bike riders. Please bring your own or rent from Pleasure Island Rentals.

Quiet neighborhood-2nlocks to beach

We enjoyed staying at this beach condo all the rooms on both the front and the back of the condo have a porch to sit on. It was beautifully furnished and the kitchen had most everything you need to cook. The beach was very close by with a nice entrance Three blocks from the house. We found a lovely Greenway that connects to the neighborhoods on the non-beach side of the house. The property worked well for our dogs and we enjoyed many walks through the lovely, quiet nearby neighborhood. Our only criticism is the bed in the master could have been more comfortable.

Was very convenient to beach and A/C ran exceptionally well for heat wave. Had bikes and chairs available. Some outdoor chairs were tattered and unusable. Living room had 2 uncomfortable chairs that were from Dr Seuss book in design. Kitchen was fairly stocked with just a few things missing.. tongs, large stock pot. Was a bit of a safety hazard with high risers on some stairs. Had lots of outdoor decks. Property manager very attentive.

Great Vacation for large Family

Really clean. Very spacious. Loved the pool. This place is really close to the beach and all the fun activities in town. The kitchen is equipped really great, with appliances and cookware. The vacuums are not really efficient to clean up sand. There was no grill when we arrived, but after calling management they brought one right away. The trash was a little off, the outside cans had loads of flies, so this was quite gross when having to take trash out. We would love to stay again in the future.

A Great Thanksgiving Getaway

This was a great 5-day Thanksgiving trip with family. Space is large, close to the beach (though crosses a road that's often busy), and having 4 beds and 4 baths is great. Our dog was very happy with the convenient public beach entrance nearby. Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans making it easy to cook. The only real downside was the amenities compared to most VRBOs - something I understand is common for the Carolina Beach market. Most people know you have to click a button on vrbo listings to see the full price as opposed to what that they quote you. Here, however, you have to pay for an additional linens package that's not listed if you want sheets and towels, and the quality of what you get is poor (towels that don't dry and somewhat rough sheets). There is no soap or shampoo provided in the bathrooms either, and not much toilet paper. I wouldn't have minded as much if the listing spelled all of this out (the linens package I knew about, for instance), but it's vague on several points and i had to call a couple time to get answers. Go in forewarned about these things and you'll have a great time.

Beautiful place but staircase may be difficult for some

Andreaā€™s Place is a beautiful home, but if anyone in your party may have difficulty navigating some pretty perilous stairs, itā€™s not the place for you. My brother-in-law fell down the stairs and broke his heel on the first day of our visit. My mother also nearly fell a couple of times. The owner should install a second railing to provide better safety for guests. They should also note in the description that the three flights of stairs may be difficult for some to navigate. That being said, the beach house is very nice and spacious. There are tons of games in the kitchen cabinet (though some are missing parts as to be expected with an STR). Thereā€™s a ping-pong table in the garage along with a couple of bikes and a bike-like cart. Thereā€™s also a wheelbarrow-like thing to cart your stuff to the beach. It had a few sand toys in it. We also left behind a beach chair, but there arenā€™t any others. If you can, bring your own. There was also a beach umbrella, but it was broken. If you park too close to the garage door, you may have trouble getting things out of the garage. The beach house does NOT provide beach towels. Weā€™ve been renting beach places for years, and this is the first one that did not provide beach towels. There were a few Styrofoam coolers that were left by past guests. Each room has a Roku TV that you can log onto your streaming services with. The management company asks you to download an app to get information about the place. It had the incorrect WiFi information, which created some confusion in the beginning, but then we realized the info on the fridge was correct. The home is about a block from the beach and maybe three or so blocks from the pier. Kure Beach doesnā€™t have much to offer in terms of eating out, especially during the week when places close early. Because of my brother-in-lawā€™s injury, we werenā€™t able to do a lot of things weā€™d planned to do, but we were able to rent jet skis one day at Carolina Beach State Park. I highly recommend it.

The townhouse accommodated everyone, but the pullout sofa was most uncomfortable for sleeping. The carpet from the first to second level was stained, and we saw several roaches crawling on it during the week, presumably trying to get to the kitchen. Jillian was very responsive when we notified them of missing linens. The door to the upstairs hall bathroom did not close all the way, causing most to be reluctant to use it, resulting in five people using the master bathroom.

Andreaā€™s Place provided plenty of space for our 2 families and dog to stay. It was perfectly located between Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher, and only a short walk to the beach. October 2021 Stay

Great location in Kure beach. Right at the end of the cute boardwalk leading to the pier and the few restaurants in Kure. Very close to beach access. Condo is spacious, nicely decorated with lots of fun amenities (bikes, games, ping pong, small community pool). Loved that we could share our vacation with our dog. The only thing I would caution is that steps might be tough for elderly folks. They are steep and winding. We had a very nice stay!
