Mairangi Bay Beach Coastal Studio

• We have available a lovely fully self-contained Studio which is located in the heart of Mairangi Bay.
• Our studio has its own private entrance and is well-positioned North facing (this is perfect in the Southern Hemisphere) with great indoor/outdoor flow to a lovely large sub-tropical garden and deck.
• Studio facilities include all the usual home appliances, Queen size bed, portacot (on request).
• FREE Wifi high-speed High-speed Fibre Optic - unlimited data. Digital Sky TV, Netflix, Neon.
• Your own large deck has outdoor furniture on it plus a gas BBQ
• All good quality linen provided – even beach towels if you need them.

The area:
• Only 10 minutes drive to North Harbour Stadium and approx. 20 minutes drive to Eden Park (off-peak).
• Less than 200 metres walk to beautiful Mairangi Bay Beach (via a walkway through Whitby Crescent or Sidmouth Street – just around the corner.
• Three doors away from Mairangi Bay Shopping Centre
• Murrays Bay (Yacht Club) and Campbells Bay only a 5-10 minute easy stroll around the coastal walkway or just walk over the hill.
• Browns Bay is a 5-minute drive by car
• Beautiful coastal walks
• Pupuke Golf Club (very popular with fantastic views of the Hauraki Gulf)
• Mairangi Bay Tennis Club

Fantastic location

Clean and cosy with friendly and relaxed hosts. Our kids loved the little jetty and feeding the resident eels. A lovely and short walk down to the beach for endless fun.

Amazing location

Such a clean and comfortable studio! Really appreciated all the special touches. We were staying for a swim competition and Kathy even set aside extra beach towels for us, though we didn't end up needing them. We loved our stay and the location is perfect. We hope to return again!

Convenient and Beautiful

We had an absolute blast staying here. Kathy was such a sweetheart and was always available to answer any and all questions I had. The location is superb as it's super close to everything and easy to come out on the motorway. We will definitely be coming back.

The studio unit is well set up and the owners are friendly and welcoming but not ‘in your face’. The bottle of wine, milk and chocolate in the fridge on check in were very welcome. Within walking distance of the beach and shops this is a great little place to stay. There is also a parking space in front of the garage for the person staying in the unit.

Nice little studio, great location.

Nice little studio apartment on the ground floor of the house. Lots of light due to the large windows looking out to the well treed garden. Five minute walk to the beach and a small shopping/restaurant area. All your conveniences are within walking distance. Kathy is a great host and Hec, thanks for the tip about the Duke in Russell!

We had a lovely stay. Kathy and Hec are terrific hosts. The studio is very warm and comfortable with great facilities and very peaceful. The location is very handy to shops and amenities and a quick drive to the motorway. Highly recommended

Great stay

Cathy was very kind to let us check in early as soon as the studio was ready. Studio has everything you would need. We were also able to pick some feijoas and enjoyed them on the deck out in the sun. The sofa bed is cosy as well for the kids.The linen and bedding Cathy provides is of high quality and she also provided is with a bottle of sauv and chocolates. Parking for 1 vehicle is also available. On checkout day we met with both Cathy and Hec and had a good yarn. Very nice couple and highly recommend staying in the Studio. Cathy and Hec are very down to earth and it was a pleasure staying at their property.

Lovely wee studio

We had a lovely time at this tranquil oasis! Really loved the attention to detail, eg crisp bed linen, everything provided (even mosquito repellent!) We bought an infant and owners were so accommodating by providing a portacot, highchair and bath. Very clean and tidy. Lovely, friendly hosts. Would stay here again! Thanks so much Kathy and Hec for your hospitality.

Wonderful experience staying at the Whitby Studio. Very clean, all kitted out with beach towels, deck chairs, sun shade, BBQ, Netflix, everything you could possibly need. Location is great by lovely beaches and restaurants. A great place to stay, even us Aucklanders would have never guessed that it is in Auckland! The studio was compact and cosy for winter chills. Everything was supplied and more. Beach fantasticly close and shops around the corner. Quiet, private setting amongst the backyard treees and birds. Not too far from motorways.

We both really enjoy meeting people from all over the world as we have traveled extensively and know what it is like trying to find accommodation which suits, and not having to pay a premium price for it. Our studio accommodation has been operating since late 2007 and we have been privileged to have met some very interesting people from all walks of life. We pride ourselves on the fact that we make sure that our guests have total privacy but we are here if they need us for advice.

We love living in Mairangi Bay because it has a lovely village atmosphere and is surrounded by beautiful beaches and coastal walks.

It is a special place in the 'City of Sails' which we like our guests to enjoy.

Beautiful beaches (Mairangi, Campbells & Murrays Bay) and coastal walks only just a few doors away. Some really great shops and restaurants a two-minute walk down the road. On main bus route to other parts of the North Shore and Auckland City.
