A small and pleasantly basic kiwi bach. 36 square meters in a private beach estuary environment.

The perfect winter`s hide-a-way to recharge body and mind. And for the summer simply brilliant!

Very peaceful and quiet location right on the edge of Ohiwa Harbour close to the main channel. Fishing, shell fish, kayaking, surf beach, bush walks, sailing, kite surfing, glow worms and more all at your door step, everything you could ask for in a tranquil beach side location. Further enhanced by the ever changing moods of the tidal harbour lapping at the property boundary. Watch the bird life come and go, feeding with the changing tides.

A compact one room bach with seperate bathroom, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, sleeping is upstairs on the mezzanine floor.

The mezzanine floor is accessed by a ladder staircase (check photos to confirm this set up will work for your group) and contains a Double bed and two single beds (one rolls under the other when not in use). This area has a low ceiling height due to the steep roof pitch. Approx 1.6 meters at top of ladder up to 2 meters at the window.

The large wrap-around deck with table and chairs provides for outdoor living with relaxation the name of the game.

This bach is no beach holiday palace but is a cosy comfortable dwelling set in a beautiful natural environment.

25min drive from Ohope, 30min drive from Whakatane.

10min drive from Opotiki where there is a very good New World supermarket for all your supplies.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/pillow cases/tea towels), pillows, duvet and duvet cover supplied.
