Dream house for whole family near Muriwai beach with spectacular views!

WOW is this an amazing house. Richard is a fabulous host with excellent communication before we arrived and also during our stay. Check in was very easy and the house was clean and had everything we could need. We LOVE the views, the decks, and the well-stocked kitchen. During our stay the kids took surfing lessons at the Muriwai Surf School and we walked several times to the beaches and gannet colony. We are so glad we booked another stay here at the end of our trip!

Breathtaking views and a great space for everyone!

We are so lucky to have booked a second stay in this incredible home during our trip. As before, Richard was a wonderful host with excellent communication. We experienced flight cancellations while on Aotea and Richard was flexible and understanding with our schedule. As with our first stay in this home, it was clean and well provisioned. The views are breathtaking and our kids enjoyed their second round of surf lessons. We hope we can visit Muriwai again to stay in this fabulous place.

Laura speaks our language. Thank you to her for her correspondence; for the chance to meet some of her family; and, not once but twice, for leaving our home and cat in fine shape. Highly recommended and most welcome to return.

Beautiful house, beautiful area

Lovely home, well maintained and stocked. Amazing views. Close to beaches and walks. Owners very nice. Let us extend a night when we realized we made a mistake on our reservation dates. Highly recommend.

The house is amazing / gigantic. 12 of us has room to spare - with separate areas for kids and adults. The owlish tower is a fantastic spot to watch a sunset from.

This house is AMAZING

This house is AMAZING. We were looking for somewhere for a choir retreat and it's perfect as there is a big living room and lots of space for up to 14 adults. The tower is also really cool - and great for singing! Thanks for making an amazing weekend even more magical. :)

Stunning views, really special house that was the perfect size for our large group.

Stunning views, really special house that was the perfect size for our large group. Nice walk to the beach. Fantastic collection of books, if only we’d stayed longer to read them. We were really happy there. Having linen and Towels provided and clean up included made it a total breeze to stay there and fit in a great day in the forest and beach too.

Location was excellent with amazing views.

Location was excellent with amazing views. But a long way from the beach. Too many personal belongings in the rooms made the house feel very cluttered. We had safety concerns regarding the wide steps to the sunken lounge area which had no hand rails.
