This is a beautiful little cottage full of art and comfortable furniture set in the trees. There is a wood fireplace and lots of wood available. It is a 5-10 minute drive from the main town of Ganges. They supplied a carton of eggs, cream, and fresh bread when we arrived. It was an excellent stay

Absolutely incredible stay. Our hosts were helpful in sight seeing and dining tips. They were highly responsive and friendly. The property is breathtaking and 5-10 minutes from so many beautiful views and quaint spots to visit in town. This was a perfect getaway from our everyday and we left refreshed and rested.

We loved our three day stay in this charming island home! This is a well-cared for property by owners who know that the little details matter a lot to the guest experience. Everything has been considered from the CanLit on the bookshelves and the curated decorative objects in the living room to the kitchen cooking implements and the lovely vases offresh cut flowers. Thank you so much! It was quite perfect!

Beautiful and quiet location. This is a lovely comfortable home with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable king-sized bed. Close to Ganges and Beddis beach. I loved the view of surrounding trees and gardens, the sound of birds chirping, and the doe and fawn on the driveway one evening. I appreciated the yummy breakfast essentials, freshly picked blackberries and plums, and the thoughtful extras that were provided. A wonderful spot and I would both recommend and stay here again.

This is such a beautiful spot. The hosts are very kind and thoughtful and the place had everything you need. They even had some delicious local goodies for breakfast. Would highly recommend this sweet place.

Fantastic

Beautiful, serene and close to town. The host was amazing. The fireplace added coziness. The place is surrounded by flowers and forrest. I had a great stay.

We loved everything about Mackey Landing! Theresa and Ron have clearly put a lot of thought and care into this art-filled, meticulously clean, and comfortable space. We especially appreciated the lovely fresh flowers, breakfast delights and welcome card. I hope we're lucky enough to return and stay here again.

Very comfortable private residence!

A workmate and myself shared this loft style home for a week. It has everything you need and both the main bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The second level balcony has a treehouse type of feel and view and the grounds are surrounded by flowers and forest on one side. It has a full size fridge and freezer which was helpful. The owners were very accommodating and understanding. I would definitely book here if I was to return.

Warm and lovey gateway in Salt Spring Island, in a beautiful, well-appointed cottage.

Ron and Theresa were welcoming and warm, offering anything possible to make our stay comfortable. Upon entering we found a fresh french bread, farm fresh eggs and coffee. The house is surrounded by the gorgeous flowers tended by Theresa; it is filled with Ron's artwork and that of their daughter. A joyThe house is clean and cozy and the bed is terrific. If we were to return to the island, we would surely stay again. Highly recommended for a sweet and comfortable place to relax, read and hiking.Ruth and Mark

The suite exceeded all of our expectations, in every way! Photos are beautiful but they don't do the suite justice. Stunning property with a little ocean view from the balcony. Suite was perfectly clean, and was stocked with various thoughtful things that we weren't expecting. Farm fresh eggs and local bread were left for us, along with other breakfast items. Paintings and pottery from local artists decorated the unit, many beautiful pieces for sale. Bed was very comfortable, lots of fun books to curl up and flip through. Will definitely be back the next time we return to the island. Would recommend to absolutely anyone, with the exception of those who may not be able to do stairs, as the bedroom suite was in a loft. Ron and Theresa, thank you so much for sharing your stunning property with us. Was an absolute pleasure.

A rustic rural oasis of calm. Ambient noise of forest the best accompaniment to this lovely shaded cottage. Greeted by some choice local produce and a colourful bouquet of flowers cut from the garden. Ron & Theresa have considered virtually everything to make our stay relaxed and memorable.
