Newly Renovated Home in Whitby

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that the patio and deck were fully accessible and usable. The overgrown area referenced is at the back of the property where the maintained yard ends and the natural forested area begins, and it is not advertised as a guest walkway. A BBQ was also never advertised as an amenity in our listing. None of these concerns were raised during the stay, so we were not given an opportunity to address them. Nevertheless, we provided a $300 refund as a gesture of goodwill, after which the guest requested $500. Upon checkout, the property was also left in a very messy condition, and our cleaners discovered damage to the home and its contents. We take guest concerns seriously, but feel it is important to clarify these details for future guests.

Regarding communication, all messages were responded to through the platform during the stay, and no concerns about bugs or cleanliness were reported at the time.
