Kia ora Pauline, thank you for your feedback. Glad you loved the location, though sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the simple lay out of our seaside villas. As noted in the compendium, we are happy to put loads of washing through our laundry facilities onsite.. apologies if this was not clear for you. A dish washing machine we have never deemed necessary but I can understand when you're staying for multiple days how this could become a burden. It was my understanding that David touched base about the power outage in the morning and Nuala followed up with a note left at your door later in the day, as you were out we she came to pass on the information.. in hindsight, we should have text to let you know so you could have dined out in New Plymouth.. the wind that day was some of the most severe I have witnessed! All-in-all I hope you had a lovely time in Taranaki. We enjoyed hosting you all & your beautiful dogs. Take care & maybe we'll meet again in the future. Kindly, Seth
