Affordable Lakeside Luxury Apartment with Magnificent Views of the Lake and Mountains, with your carpark right outside your door.
Peaceful, quiet setting with Wonderful Private Balcony

There is an under-bench fridge/freezer with a separate external door freezer (for ice-cream etc), and there is a microwave and small appliances, jug toaster etc, and on the covered balcony a new gas barbeque which has side-burner (hotplate) and pots and pans for undercover cooking breakfast or boiling pasta if you want to :)

Mountain Bikes on site available to Rent and we are right above the the famous Frankton walk/cycle-way, beside the lake ... safe off-road cycling tracks into town and to literally 100s of miles of scenic cycle/walkways all around Queenstown.

The apartment is 3.6km, 5mins to Airport, 4.2 kms to the centre of town, 8-9 minutes by car, or you can walk/bike the famous Frankton Walkway Lakeside into town, only seconds from the apartment, and a bus stop at the road side entrance :)

We have a 2000 Toyota 3 door, 4 seater RAV-4, SUV all wheel drive (4X4) with roof racks, you can rent with the property, (please check availability). It is an automatic and easy to drive.

If you are over 25, have a current drivers license, you can hire the car for the day/nights of your stay for only $59.00 per day, (a run through the carwash, and topping it back up to full before you leave it parked back at the apartment when you leave on your last day. It is a NZ$25-$35 Taxi to and from the Airport.

You do need to pay a deposit of NZ$500, as this is our insurance excess for any accidents, it it full commercial comprehensive insurance, (but unlike a car rental company), you get this back after your stay... if you are happy with this, the car can be booked at this time, and you are welcome to use it during your stay :) You are also welcome to take the car if you are under 25, but the bond then increases to our insurance excess of $1000. SEE MY FEEDBACK AS A RENTER FOR ASSURANCE WHEN MAKING A DEPOSIT :)

We also have four new mountain bikes which live on site, which we rent out for $20 each per day, (or we can discount for a longer stays/use ), again please enquire as to availability during your stay.

Unfortunately the apartment is right next to a large commercial building site. Beautiful view but extremely noisy with lots of dust blowing off the site

The view from this property is very good. However, I would not refer to it as an apartment. It was the size of a motel room. Maybe from Queenstown standards this is an apartment. From my perspective it was very small. The parking situation was very tight. We got a list of warnings from Susy about the smoke alarm setting off the fire department coming out costing lots of money. So we did not use the toaster. There was an extra cleaning fee for the bbq. There were lots of rules with charges attached which we did not want to be a part of.

Proximity without the hassle n bussle

OVERALL the property is well situated halfway btw downtown & airport. Larger grocery stores a few minutes drive (or bus trip) away. Bus service is good. We used the car rental provided by host. Is a great little get around car. Our stay was comfortable. Big fluffy towels, comfy bed. Nice hot shower with awesome water pressure. Kitchenette & BBQ can service guests adequately when you're keen to not dine out constantly. Neighbouring unit didn't bother our stay, noise can be heard sometimes. Otherwise perfectly peaceful during our March stay. Internet was not great, if you could flip the orientation of the room the views from the comfort of bed would be epic. Host communication was spot on. Gracious and helpful.

Great place!

This is a perfect spot. Easy to get to ‘downtown’. The balcony is a huge plus - so nice to sit out and enjoy the view. The unit is spotless and had all the things you need. Excellent communication with the host. I definitely would recommend!

Great little getaway

Check in/out process was so easy, plenty of communication and clear instructions. Suzi went out of her way to accommodate a few requests for us. Having the option of the car was also a huge benefit. Super warm apartment, never felt the cold, and a stunning view...what more could we want! Would definitely stay again in the future.

Amazing view, everything we needed. Clean and very tidy. Reasonably priced. Only fault was the kitchen, it was really only a kitchenette. Unable to cook even minor meals for a week was an issue.

View, Location, Clean - Loved our stay!

Perfectly sized for 2, the unit has a fantastic mountain and water view. Very clean with a comfortable bed. Small kitchen area with a grill and hotplate on the deck. Everything we needed for a week in Queenstown. Communication with the host was easy, and all of her directions were clear. Parking was a bit tight if you have a larger car, and this is a downstairs unit, so the renters upstairs can be either very quiet or not so quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Apartment with Lake View

This was a very clean and modern apartment with a nice, unobstructed view of the lake. It's convenient to both the airport and downtown Queenstown. The parking is a little tight, so be aware of that if you are driving a larger vehicle.

Great lakeside location on walking/cycling track. Access to bikes added to the enjoyment. Recommend walking into Queenstown then catching water taxi service back to nearby Marina. Very helpful property owner.

We found that this stylishly furnished and modern property to have everything we needed and it was handy to be able to catch the Orbus into the centre of Queenstown or to other places. Great communication from host.

Great view, good communication

Very enjoyable stay. Use of mountain bike was a great help too as it’s not exactly walking distance to town. (Bud stop super close too) Coffee pods for the machine would’ve been nice, but the walk to Sherwood or boathouse was always delightful.

Wonderful location

This apartment was pretty small. Not much bigger than a hotel room. But if that is all you need, it is in a great location with wonderful views of the lake and the mountains. You can sit out on the porch and enjoy. Suzi was very responsive when we had some TV issues. But now she has a new TV and cable (with very limited channel selections). It is only two minutes from the walkway to better enjoy the beautiful area.
