We really enjoyed our visit to the beautiful Rock of Polynesia - Niue. The place was wonderful and close to all the amenities and locations for exploration - cave pools, snorkeling and swims. The property was very clean and well presented with lots of space to enjoy.

Chalet Nanas was the perfect place and location for our first time in Niue. The ocean view from inside or from the porch was amazing. I went to sleep watching the sunset and was lulled to sleep by the sweet delicious sound of the Pacific Ocean. The house had everything we needed and more. As a bonus we got 2 friendly roosters as our security guard, they joined us in our morning walks and Misty the kitten.

A beautiful location with whale watching just across the road. Nanas Chalet was well equipped and very comfortable. Very private within a short to local cafes. We didnt want to leave!

Handy location close to Avaiki Cave and Palaha Cave (Hio Cafe ;), only a short drive north to Matapa Chasm and Talava Arches or south to Alofi.Clean property with plenty of space inside and out, and complete privacy.We loved staying at Nana's Chalet!

Niue is amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to experience it. The accommodation had everything we needed and was in a fantastic location. It was spotlessly clean and very well-fitted out with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. We were greeted when we first arrived by a super-friendly family. Hoping to come back and stay here again!!

the chalet is very beautiful. on a large porch you can walk around the chalet. Laundry is also possible. a very nice view of the sea. I can highly recommend the chalet.

The chalet is situated on a good stretch of road, close to all the best sea tracks, and only 10 mins to Alofi. Quiet and very tidy. Comfortable. All necessities provided. Thanks!

Fantastic chalet

My week in my 200th country visited couldn't have been nicer thanks to the fantastic chalet of Nancy. Everything functioned perfectly and she was even kind enough to organize airport pickup and drop-off. Happy Times at this wonderful house! Super comfy bed, hot shower/great pressure, even a washing machine at disposal. Loved it!

Paradise on the rock

The promotional pictures of Nanas Ocean View Chalet are very accurate. The view from the veranda is stunning. The chalet is very central to resturants, shops and snorkelling sites. Water heating is by solar, not a problem, but use sparingly on cloudy days. Totally adequately equipped for a relaxed self catering holiday. I would book again.

Amazing Niue

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nana’s chalet. The house was beautifully presented with excellent facilities. Nancy, the owner was friendly and very helpful, telling us of the best places to snorkel etc. She brought us, fresh paw paw, passion fruit, and the sweet centre of a sprouting coconut! She showed us a huge blue coconut crab. We were sad to leave!

Well-equipped and comfortable

Nana's Chalet was a comfortable place to spend a week relaxing and snorkelling in Nuie. Nancy kept in touch and we were met by Fonu on arrival - she was also there as we departed, but really the whole experience is easy regardless.The chalet lacks an oven but has stovetop and microwave, There is no aircon but it has a good fan. For us in June, temperatures were very comfortable.Keep opened food in the fridge to avoid persistent ants and the screen doors closed to keep mossies and flies out - we didn't encounter many of either.The ocean view across the quiet road is pleasant and the sofas and bed are comfortable. A short walk takes you to a launch ramp to a reef opening which is swimmable with care at the right tide.

Good central location, across the road from the beach, could not get the TV working, bit hot inside, has a plug in fan and adequate if sitting close. Says it has a pool on the internet. The bach had everything one would need, bed was comfortable but we were not told we would have to launder the bedding, towels etc. and remake it. No wi-fi bur were told that. Overall 7.5 out of 10.

Nanas chalet is an incredible place to stay for your Niue experience!

We were welcomed at the airport by Nancy’s niece Sara and told about the island and picked up the rental car that is also available for hire. What you don’t see in the photos here is the beautiful ocean view from the front doors! Location is fantastic and is on the left side of the island close to the main attractions. Incredible caves, snorkeling and walks. The house has everything you need for an island getaway. We took our own food over and used the stovetop, microwave and BBQ for our cooking. Note with the wifi you need to purchase this from Telecom in town and insert a data sim into a modem, Vodafone global roaming didn’t work on the island. We did also then get a Niuean SIM card. Everyone on the island was so lovely and they all know Nanas chalet. We met Nancy’s sister at the market so we felt like if we needed anything we could ask. We will definitely come back to Niue and stay here again :) it really was a home away from home.

The chalet is great. It has a nice comfy bed and fly screens on all the windows. It had everything I needed and more. It is surrounded by bush and looks out to the ocean. It is only a 5 minute drive to town but it is quiet, private and relaxing. It is a hot time of year to visit and there's no air-con, but there are amazing swimming spots close by and a good fan for a good night's sleep. I highly recommend Nana's Chalet and hopefully I'll get the chance to stay here again.
