Modern Stylish Guest Suite with Great Water Views

An updated and refurbished guest suite located in the sunny Western Bay of Plenty with beautiful bush walks, cycle trails, native bird life, pristine beaches, and an all-tide launching ramp right here at Tanners Point. With stunning views (any time of year) and close-by access down to the water, you can be assured of a restful stay, with access to shops and eateries only 10-15 minutes away. The suite has a separate bedroom and ensuite, living area with queen size sofa-bed, kitchenette, private deck and BBQ.
An excellent location just off State Highway 2, just 15 mins from Waihi Beach and 45 mins to Tauranga, so situated well for easy access to tourist destinations such as:
* Waihi historic Gold-mining area, Karangahake Gorge
* Waikino historic train ride
* Hobbiton (Lord of The Rings movie set) approx 1 hour drive
* Rotorua - (cultural and geo-thermal attractions) approx 1 hour 30 drive
Special conditions:
This is a guest suite annexed to the owners home, who live on site.

Jill and Neil presented this property to us in excellent condition, being very clean, tidy and warm and were very helpful hosts. We had a relaxed short stay which is what we were looking for.

Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. They offered suggestions on local eating places and nearby walks. The unit was beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished, and had a lovely view. It is a quiet, peaceful spot and we felt refreshed after our stay. Thank you 😊

Fabulous location. Nice location with friendly hosts.

Perfectly met our needs, clean and tidy with nice furhishings. We are quiet people and enjoyed relaxing on the deck with takeaways and a glass or two of wine. Perfect get away for a couple or two ladies travels as there was a pull out sofa in the studio as we as a very delicious comfortable double bed. Thanks Gill and Neil we had a thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant hideaway

A Haven of Peace

I'm not sure I want to share details of this lovely apartment because we like it so much!! So comfortable with everything you could need plus an amazing view and wonderful hosts who made us so welcome. It is so peaceful waking up to the sound of the tui and to watch them flying around. In the future, this will definitely be our bolt hole from the city.

Enjoyed our stay didn't want to leave. Hosts were lovely. There to welcome us an nothing too much trouble. Nice sitting on the deck looking over the water listening and seeing all the different birds especially the tui. Would recommend this place nice relaxing break away.

Property was outstanding, quiet and peaceful area, the Tui’s in the morning are tranquil and mind blowing. The hosts are very helpful and lovely people. I will definitely return to this property and definitely recommend it to travelers.

We enjoyed our stay. The view from the property was lovely and the room kept very clean and hospility from the owners was great. A good place to stay when wanting to wander about the Bay of islands as it is accessible to many area with a not too far distance. Overall a pleasant stay.
