Just a 5 minute walk away from central Taupo but set in a lovely quiet area overlooking a river, this high end apartment makes for an excellent get away.

There are 2 Queen beds, 2 Single beds - family friendly with a heated pool.

(NOTE: Pool is NOT available after Easter - Spring)

A high end apartment with nice big screen TV, unlimited wifi internet and comfy beds.

Access is via a keypad on the main door. If you have any issues with access our onsite property manager can assist. You are a stones throw from central Taupo, just walk over the bridge and you are there. There are great walks around the area, and lovely views of the river. You can walk into Taupo easily from here.

There is a huge garage for 2 cars or a boat. Enjoy!

Please NOTE:
-We have an onsite property manager who is available if you have any issues during your stay.

- This apartment has 2 sets of stairs (each set has roughly 10 - 12 steps) so this may not be suitable for the elderly.
- There is strictly no parties! Smoking only Outside please.
- Please DON'T rearranged or move our furniture! If you need to move anything for some particular reason, put it back before you depart!
- Treat this property like you would your own. Please clean up after yourselves.
- Please do not exceed the maximum guest limit and inform us of any extra guests that may want to stay in the property.

A welcome return!

We stayed here a few years ago and loved the size of the appartment, it’s within walking distance to town and has a pool onsite to use.It’s very clean and modern with fabulous views.Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning

No communication at all, had to book somewhere else on the day of check in

We were travelling to this apartment in Taupō for a 2 night stay. On the day of check-in we kept trying to get into contact with the host but no response at all! Also contacted bookabach and even when they contacted the host they couldn’t reach them. I’m sure there is a reasonable explanation considering all the positive comments about the apartment. However, it was quite a hassle that day and wasn’t sure what to do at that time.

The property is in a great location, and has a beautiful view out over the river and the lake. It is however on a major road and the road noise in 2 of the 3 bedrooms is quite loud. The rooms could do with double glazing or thicker curtains to help with this, that said by night 3 I was used to it. One word of warning is that the living and kitchen area is on the 3rd floor so lots of stairs to lug your shopping up!

Noisy unit

Lovely unit but very noisy - two of the bedrooms back on to main road and sleep is impossible Pool was dirty , no wi fi and veranda backed onto main road . Only one shower - yet advertised as two bathrooms . What was good were the washing facilities in garage and lounge furniture

Hi Nicole, Thank you for your recent review, I’m sorry to hear that the property didn’t meet your expectations. Two of the bedrooms are located against the main road but I personally have any issue sleeping in either bedroom. Unfortunately, our WIFI was indeed down during your stay due to our router having issues, this has been resolved. HomeAway doesn’t allow hosts to specify the number of bathrooms to 1.5 which would be the best description but our photos on the listing show the bathrooms. I wish you all the best! James

Poor Stay

This property showed through photos was not at all how it looked in person. The property was very dirty and the sheets on the beds felt like not clean and certainly were not pressed. There was a cockroach in the entry dead on floor and also one alive on the curtains in living space. The upstairs toilet seat big crack and dirty should not be used. All the rooms the curtains had black mould. The main bathroom toilet brush filthy sitting in dirty water and the walls of the bathroom were very dirty. This is expensive and the advert said stairs but there were 18 & 16 steep steps to try and get heavy suitcases up. My girlfriend paid in excess of 900 which we felt expensive thinking a fab place. We would not recommend a stay here and do have photos as evidence of the mould and cockroach. Would recommend the host needs to visit and actually take a look and ensure this place is cleaned thoroughly. The host was not responsive when I asked for a slightly late checkout like 1 hour and responded 15 hours after we sent the message. There are far better places in Taupo along the waterfront. If a property is listed the photos should be accurate and not enhanced like they were. So so disappointed considering this was a special stay for my friend and I to visit an elderly relative living in Taupo. My friend said we should have walked out but arriving at 10.30pm was too difficult. The host needs to take more care and also please place long life milk in the fridge.

A great location. The stairs were much steeper and came into use more often than desired due to layout. No smoke alarms (had been disabled) which is unacceptable especially for the bedrooms being so vulnerable. Only 3 odd matched wine glasses in the cupboard for 6 people. The toilet seat and lid in the middle level bathroom was broken and loose, needs urgent fixing. Some silicone spray on the drape tracks urgently needed so the drapes aren't ripped or damaged when trying to close or open them.

Lovely Apartment

Lovely Apartment, great location. 3 good size rooms. The apartment is closest to the driveway so you hear the gate opening and closing, also very close to the road so a lot of road noise. Pool is great for a splash around.

Beautiful house terrible maintenance

When we first got to the property the first things we noticed was the beautiful house an location, but entering the house we noticed the dirty walls an floors, we were staying for 4 nights were only provided with 4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people, I also paid for a cleaning fee an towels toilet paper at the least were not refilled or replaced, also had to wash our own towels, wifi didn’t work the intire time. Says there’s a Xbox but it was a Xbox 360 with no games loaded an no intell of bringing our own games. Also apon leaving you are required to completely clean the house top to bottom but still get charged a cleaning fee. You will also receive a call when left telling you that you left the hotel in a complete state even when you followed all precautions that was asked of you. You will also be told that you got complained about. You can asked why they never came an told you an their reply will be ‘we were trying to be courteous’ even when all noise that was made got quietened by 8pm (we even didn’t start our vehicles after this hour also, as we were there for a car event) You will also be watched the entire time you stay, as the property owner had stated to myself ‘I watched you the entire time, even when you were on the balcony’ witch over looked one of the bedrooms you will stay in.

Hi Anastarzia, Thanks for your recent review, albeit not at all truthful. We kindly contacted you after your departure to ask why there was car oil all over our lightly coloured carpet and throughout the house and small pools of oil stains all over our garage floor. We would expect guests to take responsibility and pay any extra cleaning fees related to this type of damage. We do not expect the place to be cleaned thoroughly by our guests before leaving hence the reason we have a cleaner but the cleaning fee you pay does not cover getting a carpet cleaner in to remove car oil from the carpet throughout the house. As we received a few complaints from neighbours, I asked my cleaner to pop around to check on the property. Thanks.

a gorgeous apartment

The property was gorgeous and a great location. i think it needs to be made a bit clearer that it is 1 full bathroom and 1 toilet. the listing made me think there were 2 full bathrooms. When youve got 6 adults staying: 1 shower is a smidge of a stretch. the 11am check out is awesome, just not if the cleaner sits outside at 10 :)

Wonderful 3 story rental.

Wonderful experience. Nicely kept 3 story rental with everything you could need, except maybe a fewore pots and pans. Nicely furnished and very spacious. Close proximity to town. We wish we could have stayed longer. We were disappointed the pool was not open and the gate to the complex was right outside the rental and it appeared broken so it would slam shut whenever someone would drive through it. Otherwise we were more than pleased with this rental we would definitely stay here again.

The place was generally OK. Netflix subscription was not valid, the available video game console was not ready/ controller was not charged and no charging wire was available, few cups/kitchen equipment were dirty and needed cleaning before use, the pool was not open. These things were supposed to be available according to the advertised description.

This was the perfect place for me + partner to stay on...

This was the perfect place for me + partner to stay on our kid free week away. So close to town so we were able to just walk everywhere. The only real negative was the fact that the bottom two levels of the house were basically unusable at this time of year as there was no real heating and it was freezing. We think the owners should consider some heating options as there’s no way we could have had the kids with us this holiday. Nice clean super tidy place though.
