Quaint totally refurbished 1860's cottage, private and peaceful in the heart of the city. Offering up to four quests. We pride ourselves on a comfortable and memorable stay. This charming cottage offers a modern kitchen with all the conveniences. Freeview TV, Nespresso coffee, heatpump, double glazed. Quality furnishings throughout. Safe and secure courtyard area with outdoor lighting plus led lighting in the carport which has a auto door opener.

Situated within the four avenues near our new rebuild city. Directly across the road is a park and play area. Walking distance to many new attractions. Enjoy the recently new Margaret Mahy play area nearby. Short stroll to the popular Pomeroy's Brewery and cafe, Piko Wholefoods and cafe. First class Bloody Mary's restaurant. plus an array of cafes, restaurants and new business district. Also close to all other major attractions the city has to offer. Walking distance to public transport.

Tout Ć©tait parfait. La maison est agrĆ©able et confortable, elle est trĆØs bien Ć©quipĆ©e il y a un lave-vaisselle et un lave-linge, avec la lessive fournie. La douche a une bonne pression, les lits confortables. Les Ć©changes avec Rose se sont trĆØs bien passĆ©s et lā€™entrĆ©e et la sortie se sont faits facilement. Rose avait aussi laissĆ© des aliments de premiĆØre nĆ©cessitĆ© (lait, sucre, huile, etc ā€¦) ce qui Ć©tait bien pratique. De plus la maison est trĆØs bien situĆ©e, Ć  distance de marche du centre de Christchurch.

Delightful modern cottage

We returned a second time and loved our stay. The cottage is very clean with great amenities and beautifully decorated. It is an easy walk to town along the river. Even though we have have been unfortunate with the weather, the light and bright living space offsets the rain.

This is a very charming cottage with a nice yard and a well equipped kitchen. The location is a short walk to the sights. We had a great breakfast at Little Poms.

Lovely cottage

Lovely small cottage great for the 2 of us. Well equipped and clean. The owner is very helpful. The only small negative is the area was a little noisy with lots of building work going on across the street (nothing the owner could do about it). Brilliant base for exploring around Christchurch.

Just Perfect

The Rose Cottage was everything we expected. Well appointed kitchen and very clean and comfy. The cottage felt much larger due to the nice open plan and sliding doors opening to the lovely backyard. The bed was very comfortable. An easy walk to central Christchurch where many restaurants, sites and shopping are found.

Wonderful Cottage

Stayed 4 days at a wonderful cottage a short walk from downtown Christchurch. Rose, the owner was so accommodating. The cottage spotless and the area very safe. I walked to everything. Highly recommend and hope to return. Really enjoyed all that Christchurch has to offer!

Our Favourite Christchurch Accommodation

Delightful, well appointed cottage with off street parking , so no problem with the storage of bicycles. Good sized living area, lovely patio deck and very comfortable bed. If not cooking in the well appointed kitchen, easy, flat (slow) 10 minute walk to New Regent Street restaurants . Can recommend The Nook and Twenty Seven Stairs as being outstanding for food and service. Being so close to the centre of Christchurch, we find it easier to walk from the cottage than to find parking in the city. We look forward to staying at Rose Cottage on our next trip to Christchurch.
