Do not waste your money. This apartment is dirty!! The carpets have stains in every room. There were rodent droppings in the cupboards, there were black hairs in the sink, drinks spilt up the walls. There were no covers on the doona’s and they had stains all over them. There was one bin bag and one tea towel left for a week’s stay. The TV unit is broken. The pictures show the apartment has two couches and it only has one. The drier doesn’t work. The balcony is filthy. The biggest issue was someone enter the apartment while we were staying there without our approval.

Location was very good, with easy access to public transport and easy to drive to. Unfortunately the facilities in the apartment was not as expected. One garbage bin liner and 3 rolls of toilet paper for 5 adults staying for 4 days is not acceptable. One frypan made cooking difficult and a lack of dishwasher powder made using the dishwasher impossible. All of the blinds closers were broken, as was the light above the main table, which could not be fixed during our stay. The carpets throughout the carpet are filthy.A little bit more care in considering how your guests are using the apartment would mean a more pleasant stay in such a great location.

The property includes one sofa bed, which is a double, while the second sofa is not designed or set up as a bed, as outlined in the property description. Lacked clarity of communication around early check in as emails and DMs were not responded to. Beds are very uncomfortable. Main shower was practically unusable so only the ensuite could be used, the laundry facilities mean the door can only be partially opened to the bathroom, and while it looked clean (although dated with sagging and scratched up furniture) we discovered the vacuums had not been vacuumed and past visitors belongings were still under the cushions amongst the dirt.

This apartment was literally putrid. From mould in both the showers, grease on the tiles of the kitchen and the vent of kitchen exhaust fan, wet area floors were so sticky our shoes squeaked when we were on them. The carpets were badly soiled all over including the bedrooms so we wore shoes/slippers to avoid the filth being on our feet. The skirtings would have not been cleaned for years given the build up of grease and dirt. The old venison blinds were broken and also dusty. The balcony windows were so dirty, you couldn’t see through them. All the cupboards in the kitchen and bathrooms were falling apart and broken. All paintings were removed from the walls and shoved into one of the bedroom cupboards. An old TV was being stored behind the filthy couch that none of us felt comfortable to sit on. Pubic hairs behind the toilet seats and in the corner of the bathroom walls. We complained and asked for a thorough clean and advised them it was a minimum of at least 3 hours to get it to a basic standard. The cleaners came back and the only way we could see they had been was a new frying pan that replaced a broken and Teflon damaged old one. We asked for a refund on the cleaning fee which was declined. We were not offered an alternative apartment which would have been our preference. We are taking further action with Consumer Affairs Victoria given management refused to provide a clean apartment or offer any other suitable solution. Avoid this filthy apartment at all costs!

Do Not Book: From the start - the apartment was not ready for our 12 day stay. The keys were not available at the agreed checkin time. We couldn't access the building, not even in the foyer and waited outside in the cold with my children for almost 2 hours. Once the keys were made available we entered the apartment to find : broken, bent & rusted blinds in every room. The carpet was filthy and clearly not vacummed. The shower head in main bathroom was broken so had to be hand held while showering. We also doscovered when 1st using the washing machine that the drain pipe was not connected to a drain so the bathroom flooded. The furniture consisted of a black vinyl ripped and torn sofa - unusable. All the cushions were also ripped and filthy. The master bed had broken springs in the mattress - they said they would replace - this was replaced on the day before we were to leave. The black wall heater was not in working order and the bedrooms were freezing - and there were no heaters in the bedrooms or addional blankets available. The images given in listing did not match the poor state we arrived to.

Location was amazing, easy walk to access shops and restaurants along Southbank. Apartment does require a but if maintenance. The showerhead needs repairing as it did not stay upright. The main mattress was worn out on one side and sunk when you layed on it. Thhe couch was comfortable but the leather had worn out in places.

Really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was excellent and made it easy to get the most out of the trip. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free, and the building itself was quiet with no issues from neighbouring apartments.The only minor thing worth mentioning is that a few of the furnishings showed some wear, but nothing that impacted our stay. Overall a great place to stay and we'd happily come back.
