Property was very nice and spacious with a lot of amenities.The downstairs bathroom had not been cleaned, there was still hair all over the floors and in the shower and the toilet had some bowel movement residue in it

Charleston town house

We absolutely loved this property. It is centrally located to see downtown charleston and the beaches. The house is exactly as described. We loved all the motioned censored lighting, the beds and couch were so comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. Property manager was available to answer our questions in a timely manner and was so polite. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this rental.

The accommodations themselves were reasonable, but the condition of the property upon arrival was completely unacceptable. The lack of cleanliness, combined with the strong dumpster-like odor coming from trash left in the garage, made for a very unpleasant experience. If I could rate the cleanliness, it would be 0 stars—or even less.I contacted the host immediately, provided photos documenting the condition of the property, and was disappointed by the response. The only reply I received was, "OK," which came across as dismissive and showed no concern for the issues I reported.I then contacted the VRBO Support Team, and the representative I spoke with demonstrated genuine empathy and concern, which I greatly appreciated. Eventually, the Evolve Support Team reached out and offered either a full refund or a discount. Because it was impossible to secure comparable accommodations for a two-week stay at the last minute, I had little choice but to remain at the property and accept the discount.While I appreciated that Evolve eventually offered compensation, the discount did not adequately reflect the condition of the property or the inconvenience and frustration my family and I experienced. Overall, the poor cleanliness and the host's lack of responsiveness overshadowed what otherwise could have been a reasonable stay.

We appreciate you sharing your experience and are sorry that the garage trash and odor affected your stay. When your concerns were reported, the property manager responded within minutes and arranged an emergency weekend trash removal, including personally assisting with the removal to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We also take the cleanliness concerns seriously; the home’s condition was documented before arrival, and the reported trash issue was isolated to the garage. Evolve remained involved throughout the situation and provided options to help address your concerns. We understand the disruption this caused and have taken the feedback seriously as we continue working to ensure the home is properly prepared and guests receive prompt support throughout their stay.

Worked

Only issue I had was the owner had the AC locked at first. It took a while to reach him. The property manager was really pleasant to work with and she took care of it ASAP

Girls trip

Property was as described and was ready on arrival. We were a group of grandmothers in town for Christian conference and had some issues figuring out the "smart house" but eventually figured out lighting and ceiling fans. Wish owner would have left tv instructions as all we could get to work was YouTube and YouTube TV but weren't really home long enough for that to really be an issue. Just suggesting this in case others would want to watch more tv than we did. Also if you have mobility issues, there are several steps to maneuver from garage to 2nd story bedrooms. We managed fine for 3/4 but 4th guest elected to stay in basement bedroom for that reason. Overall this was an excellent home and would stay here again! Loved having access to the garage as well as the combo coffee pot/Keurig with coffee! Thanks for your hospitality!

The townhouse was nice, a problems with the cleanness, the microwave had been cleaned, refrigerator was clean, and the dishwasher was left full of dishes, other than those things it was nice
