Spacious Beautiful Log Cabin Accessible Year Round

Enjoy time together with friends and family in this beautiful log cabin in Scofield, Utah. You are minutes from Blue Ribbon fishing at Scofield Reservoir where you can also water ski, jet ski, wakeboard, paddleboard, canoe, kayak. This area also has great ATV and snowmobile trails and quick access to national forest properties. This cabin sits on 3/4 of an acre of green space where you can sit around the campfire, play outdoor games, and much more. Access to the cabin is available year-round. There are two private bedrooms and one spacious room that sleeps up to 10 people. The main level has an open floor plan that invites group gatherings and is a great place to bring the group together to watch movies or play games.

Welcoming and Loving

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. My mom passed and we needed somewhere to stay in the area. The host communicated with me and answered all my questions. She was thoughtful and kind. The property was amazing. I will reach out to her again when I return.

Beautiful cabin close to Scofield Reservoir

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at this beautiful cabin close to Scofield Reservoir! From start to finish, the Owner helped us feel welcome and like family. Our favorite things were the large area to spend time outside, how clean and comfortable the beds and furniture are, how nice and cool the nights are, the kitchen being stocked with everything we needed to make all our own meals, the timeless decorations are unique, the books & games entertaining, and it was close to the lake we grew up on!The kids loved seeing all the wildlife and had so much fun!We really enjoyed our time and can’t wait to visit again!

Great location for large groups!

Family trip

We loved the cabin and had a great time. We especially loved the cleanliness and size of the cabin. We loved the outside area with the grass for the kids to play and enjoyed the huge fire ou Pit at night. Thanks for having us!

The perfect weekend

The cabin was awesome. Perfectly located on the outskirts of town, and very close to the public shore for fishing. The fishing was great. The cabin was great. We had everything we needed to make for the perfect relaxing getaway.

Clean and Peaceful

This is a clean, peaceful, and comfortable cabin. It's in a great location. Plenty of space for outdoor activities. Definitely worth the memories made. Kitchen is stocked well with pans, dishes, etc.

Reunion

My family and I gathered into this wonderful and comfortable cabin to be together to remember my husband, their father and grandfather who had passed away from brain cancer the year before. He had written a book about the Winter Quarters mine disaster which is literally just out the back door of the cabin. As we ate breakfast , we could gaze out the sliding glass door and see the remnants of the Winter Quarters Company store, up the canyon. We were able to hike on the site of Winter Quarters Mine and Grandpa's book came alive to the grandchildren. It was a beautiful, peaceful day and coming back to the cabin, we were able to relax, and enjoy just being together. The kids all found their own little niches where they found quiet in the cabin and then we all came together for games and meals. The outdoor surroundings are stunning as you look up from the cabin into Winter Quarters Canyon. We enjoyed exploring the town of Scofield, walking on some of the trails, just down the road, and fishing on Scofield Reservoir. This cabin and its proximity to Winter Quarters Canyon was the right place to be for our family those few days. Thank you so much for such a wonderful, peaceful place.

Our family rented the cabin last minute, Jean and her husband were very accommodating, responsive and helpful. The cabin was very clean and has amazing views! We’ll definitely be back!

Home run all the way around! Wonderful home, outdoor space, location, and amazing hosts!!

What fun we had! This property is in close proximity to Clear Creek, UT, where my daughter and her husband chose to be married. Boyd and Jean, the property hosts, were just as excited for the event as we were. Their well appointed home accommodated my children, grandchildren, extended family (all from Oregon and Idaho), and served as home base to wedding prep, meals (the kitchen had everything to cook for the 12 of us), clean comfortable beds (kiddos loved the upstairs), and amazing yard for yard games! My daughter and her wedding party (8 total) got ready at the dining room table! We are already planning a visit for next summer!! Thank you Boyd and Jean!

Great Stay at a Cozy Cabin

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. It is well stocked with everything you need. Has lots of space with great seating and lots of beds. We had a great time!

Loved the cabin and the location

We enjoyed our time in this large cabin! We had everything we needed and our host was very responsive to questions that arose during our stay. We enjoyed hike in the nearby forest and outdoor games in the large yard on the property

Mountain Escape

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin in Scofield! Cabin was spacious and had everything we needed in the house for cooking and amenities. Great space to play games outside for the kids and also to for the big kids to play games inside when weather wasn't cooperating. Host was great and responsive and easy to work with! Very accommodating and kind!! Close to the lake close to the mountains and perfect for what we wanted. We Would do it again For sure!
