Off grid Adventure at Tullihas in the Trees Treehouse

Tullihas in the Trees is a tiny house treehouse experience! Off grid - with no electric or running water, guests experience a relaxing escape from the world.

Nestled at the edge of a wooded creek, this house in the trees boasts a beautiful sunset view with rolling hills. Tullihas combines rustic comfort with the thrill of being immersed in nature. Built using recycled electric poles, Tullihas in the Trees has a deck perfect for hammocking, an interior dressed with windows so that guests can feel as if they are living amongst the trees, and two small lofts ideal for a restful night's sleep. Bring sleeping bags or sheets and blankets for this fun Glamping experience!

The treehouse has no electricity and gives guests and off grid, remote experience. The house has an authentic Amish built composting outhouse.

Hiking trails are available throughout the land. Guests can hike with views of horses, cows, wildlife, corn fields, large boulders, and rustic barns. The dirt roads provide great places to drive ATVs and four-wheelers. Guests should know there is minimal cell service, however, this can offer a great opportunity to unplug. Tullihas in the Trees provides a perfect remote and rustic getaway for anyone.

Great Unique Stay

Second time we stayed at this 'treehouse' with our grandson. We had another great time. Would recommend this property to anyone wishing to have a unique experience out in the middle of nowhere (with 'nowhere' being a very positive thing)!

Get away to the treehouse

We had a wonderful two night stay in the tidiest sweet little treehouse! We really felt we were in the trees, and the views were beautiful. Our host was exceptionally pleasant and we are over all very pleased with our stay.

Beautiful Getaway

We had such a wonderful time staying at the treehouse. Spent our days hiking in the area and our evenings with some quality family time around the fire. The house is so cute and we all loved it. The kids took full advantage of the swings and hammocks. Thank you for such a wonderful getaway!

Tree House Stay

Perfect place to spend an evening with our grandson. The place was clean - with many great views and sounds of rural farming life. And don't let the 'outhouse' scare you! It was cleaner than most restaurant bathrooms!

Wonderful Treehouse

I had such a great experience staying in this treehouse. The views were beautiful, especially at sunset. The sound of the little stream made everything feel so peaceful. There were tons of birds around, which made it even more magical. Carol, the host, was incredibly kind and caring. Iā€™d definitely love to stay here again if Iā€™m ever in the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.

My kiddo and I had this as our first stop on our road trip to NYC. Unfortunately, we did not make it to this beautiful Treehouse. However, the host still contacted us about us not making it to their property, to make sure we were okay. That was so kind of them! This will definitely be on my list for our next adventure!

Such a cool spot with even cooler hosts!

We loved this place! I canā€™t recommend it enough, especially if you have kids! It was the neatest tree house, and the touch of design to everything made it even cooler! The kids loved having the swings and being able to hang there hammocks up. Von and Carol where so kind and such amazing hosts. I canā€™t speak enough to them and there hospitality! They where so personable and helped us out with whatever we had need for! We will definitely be back in the future!

best treehouse ever!

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a cute place to have our anniversary, we wanted privacy, but scenery, and this treehouse did not disappoint. This cozy treehouse is absolutely perfect for a nice getaway as when you look out your window you see wild life galore! so much nature all around with a stream in the back of the property and acres of farmland and wildlife out front! We swung on the swings underneath like children, made a nice fire, and sat out on the deck in the morning to watch the sunrise! I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants an affordable and quality trip!
