This 1800s era Farmhouse has been lovingly restored. We’ve updated all amenities, but kept the historic relaxed vibe. New stainless appliances, and a new deep whirlpool tub are just a few additions.
Come relax on one of two large porches. Great area restaurants, and a lot to do within one hour. (KY & TN!) Incredible pastoral views, abundant wildlife, and all the modern conveniences make this Norman Rockwell style Farmhouse a must stay.
Hosted by a 25 year hospitality manager and her real-life Rock Star husband, we pay attention to details. Our Solid 5 Star Ratings from every guest is the result of diligent Covid 19 Compliant Sanitizing Protocol, along with the little unexpected extras - like treats upon arrival, and Swiss chocolates on each bed.
Our guests all agree. Itty Bitty Acres fulfilled all of their expectations and more!

We had to cut our stay short, due to illness but enjoyed our stay. The hosts baked us a pie, which was very nice! The communication with the host was impeccable. I had to reschedule my initial booking, due to emergency surgery and they were very understanding. If you love a country setting, you will love this historic home!

I felt the city melting away as the rolling farm land began to relax my spirit. This property is a great creative space to clear your head and soak in some peace. The house is a perfect mix of modern amenities and a historic farmhouse! I will book this property again in the future, no question!

Wife and I had a great time for our anniversary at the farmhouse. Place was clean, homey, and I felt relaxed and right at home when I came in there. Dog loved being out in the country. Hosts had great communication and were friendly and welcoming from the get go.

Another great weekend!

This is our second time at the Historic Farm House! Check in and check out went smooth! Very accommodating! Owners are super friendly! Would highly recommend!

Lovely

We have stayed here a few years in a row, we are never disappointed! Dan and Cheryl are quick to respond if needed. We love the serenity and gorgeous views.

What a breath of fresh air! A serene and beautiful gem in the heart of farmland. My children loved connecting with the horse and watching fireflies at night. The decor is stunning. We loved every minute of our stay!

Great farmhouse and property

A lovely stay outside of Springfield. The couple was available if you needed anything but left you in privacy otherwise. Highly recommended for a fun farm-living experience!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Myself, my husband, and our 2 best friends had a long weekend stay for a concert in Nashville. This was a perfect getaway to relax between concerts, take a break from all noise and rushing that comes with daily life. The furniture was comfortable the beds were comfrorable. It was like stepping into a storybook. I would definately stay again.

Perfect Experience

I rented this adorable little farmhouse to be able to have Christmas with my son’s family and see our new grandbaby. I was hoping for a cozy environment like home and this place was absolutely perfect. It was decorated for Christmas and was wonderful!!! It is an old farmhouse that has been exquisitely redone. I would rent it again and again!

Amazing view and beautiful farmhouse!

If you’re looking for a very nice place to stay that’s off the beaten path and still only 40 minutes to Nashville, this is perfect place! We were blown away by the beautifully decorated farmhouse. It is sparkling clean, very cozy and smelled amazing! Sheryl also had a fresh baked apple pie on the kitchen island for us! We highly recommend this wonderful little gem!

It was an amazing stay in an absolutely beautiful property. An 1830 farmhouse with current amenities but loaded with antiques which made it feel like a trip back in time to a simpler time. Surrounded by acres of farmland. Sunsets and sunrises are truly breathtaking. Deer, horses, birds, owls, and other critters will keep you company. The hosts were gracious, answered all questions, showed me around, and gave me history on the home upon arrival. There was a homemade apple pie on arrival and even a candy station for a sweet treat. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need or desire, even bandaids and bath salts for the incredible jetted tub. There was even a massive telescope to view the night stars. Thank you again for an absolutely dream vacation for me. I cannot wait to return.

Great new years weekend

We went to the itty bitty horse farm for a relaxing no weekend which was achieved… the house was amazing. The view was heavenly. The horses were awesome. I was able to go for a run and family walk. The apple pie was top notch. We loved it. Thank you all

Wonderful Getaway

Our family really needed this getaway. With my husbands butchering business and the past three months of fundraising events for my non profit organization fr domestic violence we really needed a quiet, peaceful vacation and this is most certainly it! The home was just what they said and had wonderful little touches like chocolate on the beds and an apple pie waiting for us in the kitchen. We LOVED this little farm house! I have already recommended to my family for my parents next getaway! We most certainly will be coming back! Thank you Dan and Sheryl for the use of your lovely home!!

Above and beyond to accommodate honeymoon

We provided a honeymoon for a young church couple at this country cottage with the mini horses and pet sheep. The bride is blind and vegan. The hosts went out and bought vegan desserts and made the home very accessible for vision impaired. The place is peaceful and quiet and has a spa tub and was perfect for this young couple in our church needing the right place to honeymoon. Highly recommend!

Quiet Getaway

“We had such a peaceful stay at Itty Bitty Acres. The setting was incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was beautiful, and we loved the small barn with the cute two horses and oh yes, the friendly cat too. Enjoyed all the Knick Knacks and antique items. The house has such a positive aura. When we left, a part of me stayed there…We were looking for a peaceful getaway and glad we found this place. The host was very caring which was reflected while we had a Tornado watch out there. He was in contact with us throughout the event and all turned out well. Thank you!!Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind.”Bradley & Ananya

Peaceful & charming getaway

Property was just as described. Remote location perfect for getting away but still having great internet and cell reception. Extremely well stocked. The only negative was the couch has a very strong dog smell. It was so strong that I could not tolerate sitting on it. The owners have lots of good smelling candles and such around to try to cover the smell but it’s not enough. Overall very positive experience though.

Couch has been professionally cleaned as soon as you brought it to our attention. These are the pitfalls of being pet friendly. While we ask every guest to keep their pets off the furniture, they rarely follow this rule.

Family Mini Vacation

My husband and our 2 kids met up with my parents at the farmhouse for an extended weekend. The farmhouse was absolutely gorgeous and the property had beautiful views in all directions. The home is on a quiet street which was perfect for the kids to play in the yard all weekend. The hosts were so welcoming and provided a closet full of toys and children’s books for the kids and welcomed us to pet their ponies on the property. They had a delicious apple pie set out for us when we arrived, and relaxing faux candles lit in every corner of the home. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and watching the sunset, and even had a small bonfire on our last night. The home was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals throughout the weekend. We had such a fabulous stay and will stay again in the future!

This home is so great. It is an old farmhouse which they have given the needed updates but kept the character of the home. We loved all the pieces that were added as decor. Kitchen was well equipped, bed very comfortable and bath towels thick and fluffy. We saw deer and turkeys while sipping coffee out bank in the morning. We hope to return. Thank you Sheryl and Dan for all the welcoming touches.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was perfect for visiting our daughter's in Springfield and Nashville and exploring the area. The drive there is beautiful! The host was incredibly responsive and The attention to details was incredible, which made this home a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. It took me back to a different time when life was slower paced and serine. Our pups loved playing in the yard. Overall, we enjoyed our time here!"
