Let this be your home away from home! Great accommodation for single person or couple vacationing or on business in the Edmonton area who wish the comforts and conveniences of a home rather than an expensive hotel room. Ideal for long-term stay. Tranquil atmosphere in hillside, view property with walk-out lower level apartment suite. Separate entrance to your own private, self-contained apartment suite with all the amenities.

Includes fully-equipped, modern kitchen and dining area. Suite has in-floor heating so rooms can be temperature controlled individually. Main house has heat pump which keeps suite cool in the hottest weather.
Living room has a cozy gas fireplace, Full HD Smart TV with BluRay DVD. Complimentary WiFi. Laundry facilities available on request.
Bedroom has a queen-sized bed and en suite bathroom with a tub and shower. Enjoy the private patio in park-like setting with expansive view.


Minutes from the Anthony Henday making all attractions easily accessible. The festivals and attractions in Edmonton are nearby. Downtown Edmonton and West Edmonton Mall are only a 15 km (10 mile) drive away. Public transport in St. Albert and to Edmonton is one block away. Wonderful suite in a wonderful setting. Lovely garden like setting and a perfect place to stay. Would love to stay there in the Fall. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and hospitable.

St Albert VRBO

The owners have a well organized vacation rental. They are courteous and are available for any questions or concerns. The rental is located in a private/quiet area but not far from essential amenities (short drive 3-5 kms). We’ll stay there again in the future.

Home away from Home

Liz and a Joe are outstanding hosts . We keep returning to this apartment suite because it really does feel like home away from home. The outside space is relaxing with beauty flowers and shrubs. The suite exceeds expectations every single time we return!

Comfortable place for a weekend in St Albert

My wife and I stayed here while our daughter played in the Open B Ringette Tournament at the Servus arena which was only about 5 minutes away. Joe was excellent at communication and helped us out when we needed assistance. As others have commented, there is a sofa bed although it is better suited for younger children. With only 1 bathroom in the bedroom the unit is best suited for couples and families. The suite has a reasonably good stock of common cooking supplies which was nice. Really enjoyed out time here. The surrounding area was quite quiet.

Lovely St Albert Apartment

Joe & Liz’s place was just what we needed. Clean, spacious, private. They were great giving suggestions for our free day. St Albert Botanical Garden is within walking distance and beautiful! Fort Edmonton Park was worth the drive, and well done, especially the Indigenous People Experience. We enjoyed walking their neighborhood to unlink our bones after some long days of driving. Their kitchen had everything we needed. Even local cookbooks that were fun to peruse.

Well equipped

Friendly hosts in a nice quiet residential area. Only bathroom is off the main bedroom so perhaps not suited for using the sofa bed for anyone except immediate family. Host even provided secure storage for our bicycles. Did not feel like a basement apartment due to full door and patio door walkout to patio deck sloping away from home. Multiple walking trails in the immediate area. Especially enjoyed the stroll through the local botanical garden. Easy access to major routes in and around the city.

The owner’s have thought of everything you need ; prompt replies to any inquiries. A really lovely setting for the suite; so enjoyed coming back to sitting in front of that incredible fireplace on a cold evening. Thank you!

Family visit

Perfect for us as we lived in the community for many years and had a mix of family and friends to visit. Booking, checking in/out, and living there for a week suited us totally! The hosts are awesome!

An excellent stay!

This property was a real delight to stay at. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the home has a walkout basement which is where the one and only private entrance is located. The backyard is a peaceful park-like setting with beautiful flowers, lots of open space, and patio furniture to enjoy. It feels larger inside than its stated square footage. The owners were wonderful to deal with and they also provided us with helpful advice on attractions in and around the city. Definitely a first class experience all around for me and my family! Hope to visit again in the future!

I am so glad I found this little home away from home!

I came to Edmonton to visit my Mom who is in a senior's home there and needed somewhere comfortable to stay. Luckily, I came across Joe and Liz's lovely suite in St Albert. I had to drive a bit to get to where Mom lives, but it was well worth it. When I returned here at night after long emotional days, I was enveloped in a cozy, great feeling suite! It has everything you need for your stay as they have equipped it fully! Joe kindly lent me his GPS so I could get around...without it I would still be there looking for locations! It is very quiet and in a wonderful neighborhood that is safe and very pretty. I hooe to stay there again when I return in the fall. Thank you Joe and Liz!
