The home is just fine with all the basics. The location appears to be safe and is on a cul-de-sac. There were several little things that bring down the overall experience.Overall, the house was clean, though there were some crumbs and dust on the floor in the kitchen. The bathrooms were fine, though there were hints that the last cleaning was done hastily. Nothing gross just not as clean as you would expect. One of the supports on a dining room chair was broken when we got there. When we pulled the curtains on one of the front room windows, the curtain rod was not secure and just fell apart. There was a family of geese that appeared to live in that area, and two of the four nights were in the front yard and left quite a mess on the homes’ sidewalk, which was hard to navigate through. The beds were comfortable enough, but the frames are very basic metal frames. The sheets and pillows were very nice.Overall, the home is fine especially if you were budget conscious and are OK with bare bones extras that many other short-term rentals offer. I’m giving it a 3-star due to the various minor issues, and relative lack of cleanliness (we are particular about this considering short-term rental rentals charge you a relatively high cleaning fee.)
