The property was OK and served it's purpose....I hardly used it. I booked a 3 x week stay last minute....it would have lain empty but for my booking. At the end of the stay they tried to extract money for cleaning which was entirely spurious. I have a 5 Star rating on Home Exchange from more than 20 stays....I always leave a place better than I find it. At the end I was to leave the key in the lockbox...except the lockbox had been removed. So I took the keys with me and notified them. They had to pay an Uber to come and collect the keys and tried to charge me! Very greedy people....be warned!!

To clarify, while our cleaner did report and provide photos of stains found on the carpet, we did not proceed with any charges for this. We completely respect that you take pride in leaving places tidy, and we regret that this was not clearly communicated at the time.
Regarding check-out, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience with the lockbox. On that particular day, the owner had to make last-minute changes to the key collection system, and while we did direct you to another available lockbox, I understand you were in a hurry and this caused stress. We should have communicated this better, and I take responsibility for that misstep.
We value your stay and are grateful you chose our property. Your feedback helps us improve, and I hope we’ll have the chance to provide you with a smoother experience in the future.
