This was our second trip to this lake house and we will be back again. The rustic house was clean and exactly as described. The lake is lovely and the kids loved taking the boats out to the sand bar. The host was very responsive.

The host was quick to respond to our questions and the house was clean and ready for our stay. It is a nice place with a good view of the lake.

Place was nice and hosts were great! Place was clean. Area perfectly secluded. Pretty close to any major places. We will definitely be back in the future if opportunity comes for sure!

Great place - missing an extra bathroom and washer/dryer but got a lot more to offer otherwise: beautiful lake views with, great isolated spot, pet friendly with a gate outside, fireplace with bunch of firewood, lots of watertoys and hiking trails nearby - perfect getaway spot able to comfortably accommodate 2 families with kids and a dog.

Buck it list vacation

Beautiful ,enjoyable and great . Beginning a single mom of three I always went to take a vacation with my children but could never afford it plus I add to daughters and another son and two grandchildren.

Fun stay at Horseshoe Cabin

House was exactly as described. The outside space was wonderful. The kids loved taking the kayak and pattle boat out on the lake. There is a fire pit and we had a fire one evening.There is a swimming beach down the road. As others mentioned there is a soft spot in the floor in front of the door. The inside was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked.

Angela, Thank you for the wonderful review. I'm so glad your family had a wonderful time at Horseshoe Cabin. We try very hard for others to enjoy our amenities. I hope you can come stay next year for a longer stay. Yes we are working on the floors this winter In the off season , we just bought this home 6 months ago. Things pop up. I can't wait til next year so excited we have another pontoon boat that a lot bigger. Thank you very much again love to have you back . Tracy

Okay...great outdoor space.

Water frontage was great. Kids had a blast on the water. Paddle boat was so much fun and the kayak, fire pit, fireplace and the little beach area were great, huge private lot with deer, turtles and abundant wildlife and the sandbar in the middle of the lake was fantastic. Dog friendly. Now for some things that need improvement: better bug control on the interior (ants), amenities listed laundry on site (but there wasn't), no access to a garage for covered parking/storage of gear. Additionally, there is a sag in the floor as you enter which feels soft. The place needs a good amount of TLC and some repairs.

From the owner: "Thank you, Andrew, we love hearing the kids had a wonderful time on the lake. We love our beach frontage also. I have taken care of the ants, and I am so sorry you had to deal with them. The ants come in on the coolers when they are set on the gravel driveway, and I am on top of the situation. I understand your concerns about the house, and I will take it into consideration with our renovations this year. Thank you, and we appreciate the feedback."
