We found mold in one of the bathrooms and grease on multiple items in the kitchen. None of the beds had flat sheets and we had one towel per guest for an 8 day stay. Needless to say, we had to wash the towels multiple times and purchase our own laundry detergent to wash them. We were required to take our trash and recycling outside, however, both recycling bins were full. We attempted to push it down, however items kept blowing out of the bins. There was a loose hand rail in the lowest stairwell, which we found to be dangerous. Most importantly, we were not aware of the no shoes policy in the house when we booked our trip. We had an elderly person with diabetes in our group. Obtaining an injury to his feet could be dangerous for him. For that reason, the owners should include that information in their description of the property. This house has no AC which didn’t matter at this time of year but it would in the summer, this also was not mentioned in the listing. The hall bathroom upstairs has a door with the top hinge about to come off the frame. We had to lift up on the door just to be able to shut it. There was no television provider in the living room and we had to use our own information and a Roku stick from the bedroom to be able to view TV.
