Great accommodation, good facilities and nice staff. Was a bit further away from shops and eateries than I’d have hoped but still walkable.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were happy with the accommodation and would return. The apartment was smaller than the photos suggested, but the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staircase was steep but manageable for us; however, it could be hazardous for young children, so a stair gate at both the top and bottom may be worth considering. The downstairs area appeared a little tired and would benefit from a thorough clean. We also encountered a resident mouse in the kitchen, which appeared to have been residing in the cleaning cupboard for some time, as evidenced by droppings and chewed woodwork. On the positive side, the kitchen was very well stocked, and the apartment had everything we needed. We were slightly disappointed with the “poolside” description, as the pool wasn’t visible from the apartment, but the pool itself was lovely, with excellent facilities and clean BBQ areas.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re pleased to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay and would consider returning, and that you found the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen clean, spacious, and well equipped. We appreciate your comments regarding the staircase. This is helpful feedback, and we understand how stair safety can be a concern for families with young children. Your suggestion of stair gates is certainly worth considering. Thank you also for bringing the cleanliness issues and the mouse sighting to our attention. We apologise for this and have passed the feedback on to our maintenance and cleaning teams so it can be addressed promptly and thoroughly. We’re glad you enjoyed the pool facilities and BBQ areas, and we appreciate your feedback regarding the “poolside” description. We’ll review this wording to ensure expectations are as clear as possible for future guests. Thank you again for your honest feedback — it’s invaluable in helping us improve — and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Kalbarri in the future.
