A cozy cottage a block from the beach that's never crowded! .

Comfortable 4 bedroom Oceanside home in Fenwick Island Delaware with everything you need for a great beach vacation. Well stocked kitchen, great screened in porch, gas grill and outdoor shower. Easy walk to the never crowded beach. Close enough to the boardwalk in Ocean City, the outlets and restaurants in Rehobeth if you need them but there is plenty to do in Fenwick and great restaurants too.

The house has a great room with a kitchen and dining area as well as a screened in porch for more room to lounge or dine. There are 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and an outdoor shower. There is an on demand hot water heater so you will never run out of hot water. The primary bedroom is upstairs with an en suite bathroom so you can have your own oasis. There are 3 guest bedrooms on the first floor. There are 3 queen size beds, 3 twins and a full futon to accommodate all your family and friends. There is a full size frontloading washer and dryer for all those wet sandy towels and bathing suits.

2nd year staying at this great house, Won’t be our last!

Perfect home for our family. Indoor and outdoor spaces, quick walk to the uncrowned, guarded beach. Well appointed and super clean and comfy!

Lovely Beach House

The house was beautifully and comfortably furnished(even the bunk beds usually intended to sleep children were comfortable for adults), close to the beach and conveniently located. Its just far enough from OC to enjoy some quiet and close enough to OC to easily drive in to OC for some fun. Everyone in my family agreed that we would stay here again.

Family Vacation

This is the best beach house! The layout is perfect. We had 6 adults and 2 babies and had plenty of room. The back porch and deck are great. This was the cleanest beach house I’ve ever rented. We’re looking forward to booking it next summer ! Thank you for making our vacation so memorable!

Family Fun

This is our second year at this property. We adore it here. It is family friendly and welcoming. We are so close to the beach, our grandchildren could walk back and forth easily. Hopefully, we will be able to go next year too!

Perfect location

Quiet residential life! We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet beach on this holiday weekend. And the house was perfect for my large family. Large tables perfect for family game nights as well as meals, screened in porch allowed us to spread out and never feel crowded. Lovely place to stay!

Delightful Home

We loved our stay! The home was clean and well taken care of. It was large, bright, and perfect for our girls weekend (four adults and six pre-teens). Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. She was lovely to work with and we would be thrilled to rent from her again in the future.

Needs a new cleaning service!

This property could have so much potential...it's a great location walk to the beach & quiet neighborhood. However the cleanliness was POOR! Especially during a pandemic you would think they would make sure everything was spotless! We found crumbs on the counters, a dirty coffee maker & overall the place didn't look like it was cleaned from the last family. I contacted the owner & she offered to have someone come & clean but my family wasn't comfortable with a stranger coming in while all our belongings were there. So we went to get cleaning supplies ourselves & took care of it. I did ask if we could get our cleaning fee back which I thought should have been offered but they refused....poor business sense. If it were my property I would have offered immediately & been embarrassed at how we found the place. Sure hope they took my advise & found a new service...otherewise they should not be renting! We've used VRBO for years now & have never had this kind of experience...very disappointing!

Near Perfect 2 Weeks at Fenwick

The house was all that we wanted. It was clean and spacious, with a huge screened porch in the back, where we started each day and ate most of our meals. Kitchen was fully stocked - we were not lacking for any utensil or plate. The house was well decorated, making it feel more like our second home than a part-time rental. Big plus - all the rooms had plenty of extra blankets and pillows, allowing us to sleep comfortably even when the temperatures become more fall like. All this only a 5 minute walk to the beach.. Glorious.

A nice weekend away

The house was the perfect location from the beach but also away from the OC traffic. The house was big enough that we didn't have to worry about waking up other in bedrooms if we were in the living room.

Amazing Location and Property

This property is perfect for a family vacation. The location is less crowded and farther north. The is well kept. It has a gas stove which I loved for cooking meals at home vs carryout. The beach access is a stones throw away. The owner was beyond helpful and polite. This truly was the best experience I've had.

King house

Great location! That was the best part- the house needs a little TLC. No bath mats in the bathrooms- the furniture needs to be cleaned / replaced. It would be nice to have an umbrella on upstairs deck to enjoy sitting outside. Overall very nice experience.

Such a great place!

This house is very comfortable and perfectly located. We had a group of 7 adults and we had plenty of space. The walk to the beach is really short and easy. We also walked to restaurants, ice cream and tacos! When we weren’t eating out, we found the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and we loved the Weber grill! Plenty of seating around the table for everyone for eating and for playing games. We look forward to staying here again!!

Great place for your family vacation!

We are from the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland and as a result we know a lot about Ocean City, MD and Fenwick Island, north. My family has always preferred Fenwick because of its lack of high-rises, the lifeguard protected beaches, its suitability for families, and its ease of access. The home that we used to visit was sold a couple of years ago, so finding a replacement that was large enough, had the right bedroom configurations, that was oceanside, and that we could afford, was difficult. #2 King Street ended up being the perfect solution for our family. Things we liked: The owner Large private upstairs bedroom for Nana and Pop Pop Great bunk room for the kids (ages 3 - 9) Extra powder room downstairs beside the full bathroom Plenty of dining space Porch and deck (Although 100* weather prevented much use) Proximity to the beach and a beach access parking pass One street south (James) has a traffic light for access to Route 1 And, as the next to the last street heading north out of Fenwick, there isn't a lot of "infiltration" from folks coming over to the beach from the bay side, so the beach wasn't nearly as crowded as it is further south. We can honestly recommend this property to others and we hope that this home continues to be offered as a vacation rental and that we are able to come again. Thank you very much and hopefully you can enjoy this home as much as my family did.

Cindi is fabulous to work with!

Due to a tragic family death 2 days before our annual family beach vacation, we had to cancel our trip. Called Cindi immediately to explain our situation. She was so kind and understanding. Guided us through the refund process. Looking forward to next year’s vacation!

Family vacation

Our family loved your home. It was very comfortable and inviting! It was filled with all the amenities that we needed for a perfect time. I cannot think of anything that was missing. The weather and beach were also great during our stay. We had 4 couples and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. We are already thinking about another week next summer.

Wonderful house near the beach

We had ample room for 7 adults for our family reunion. Comfortable furniture & beds, clean, with a well appointed kitchen. Media worked well. Screened porch, outdoor shower, beach chairs, boogie boards were all great. For us, it's unusual that we had to bring our own linens... it seems that's how it's done on the east coast. It was easy working with Cindi on arrangements.

Absolutely perfect Again!

Once again, our Fenwick stay here was nothing less that perfect! The rooms fit all of our needs, both in space and privacy. Just a few steps to the beach is absolutely wonderful. We love the screened in room off of the back for the outdoor experience to relax, play games, eat, and yet No bugs to bother! Thank you again, Cindi and family for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Nice House - Great Location!

1.5 short block so to the beach; good sized great room, perfect for singing and group bonding; beds are in good shape; good sized bedrooms; nice screened in back porch; great gas grill; beach chairs provided; perfect weather; 5-7 foot waves; what more can I say?

My husband Paul and I live in Frederick MD but have been vacationing in Fenwick Island since we met 30 years ago. When we started a family we decided to buy this house so our kids could grow up loving the beach and Fenwick. We have owned this house for over 20 years and have updated something every year.

Paul and I have owned this house for 20 years. It has been a great place to vacation with our children and our friends. It is comfortable and pleasant but not fussy so you don't have to worry about relaxing. We love to cook so the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We still love coming here every summer and we hope that our guests will love it as much as we do.
