Extremely pleased with the vacation rental on Mercer Island. It was very clean and convenient. Working with the owners was a delight. It was a great experience and a great location.

Host was very friendly and communicative though our trip didnā€™t allow any time for socializing. The location is lovely and very convenient for greater Seattle area, probably its best asset. The apartment canā€™t really be described as separate since there is an internal door to the main house. Note that the hot tub is in front of the main living area of the residence not the apartment. The stairs to the apartment are overdue for maintenance and very slippery in wet weather. The apartment needs a deep cleaning.

A perfect location

This VRBO is in the perfect location to do all your activities around the Seattle area, and then return to a quiet residential neighborhood after a busy day. The host was very pleasant and accommodating. We highly recommend.

Quick trip to Seattle / Mercer Island

My wife and I enjoyed our stay on Mercer Island and at Tom's property. The space was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, including 1.5 baths! Tom was friendly and welcomed us and even helped carry our luggage. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Property and Location

We had a brief, but wonderful stay at this property. Tom was exceptionally responsive and helpful with questions and accommodations. The property is a short drive from downtown Seattle, but feels a world away, nestled in the trees on beautiful Mercer Island. The pictures don't do justice to how spacious and well-kept the space is, with lots of thoughtful details and amenities. We will definitely book again when we're up that way! Overall, a fantastic place to stay!

Mercer Island Gem

Great location for those wanting to get away from the city without leaving the city. Quiet, secluded location made for a quiet stay while having easy access to attractions throughout the Seattle area. Cordial owner stayed up to greet me after my very late flight arrival. Comfortable, quiet and with more amenities than I needed. Full kitchen and washer/dryer were extremely convenient. Will definitely stay here on future visits to the area if this site is available.

Birthday Thanksgiving weekend Football Trip! šŸˆšŸ—

Sent my husband and sons to Seattle for a birthday football game over the Thanksgiving weekend. The first place we booked canceled on us because they had a group want to stay in the house longer, which is understandable. I had to scramble at the last minute to find a place and found this great place! They had a blast and love the place!! Defiantly will book again for the next trip!!

Mercer Island Wedding

The apartment was perfect, once you got in it. However, the access to get inside was difficult, with unstable stairs, and decking that has seen a better day. Hard and a little scary for us older folks!

Cozy Stay on Mercer Island

Tom was a fantastic, attentive host. He lives directly above the unit and we interfaced with him and his sweet dog often. He gave us several island recommendations and was available via text for any other questions we had. The place was clean with so many thoughtful touches and we were able to find everything we needed. Having the washer & dryer was super useful, and we enjoyed the hot tub several times during our stay. Location was also incredible. We felt tucked away, but were very close to both Bellevue and Seattle. If you don't mind a more hands-on hosting experience, don't miss this spot!

The property is beautiful and host is very nice however we had a bad experience with spiders! Big black scary looking spiders. The host came to vaccum the spiders up and said they were european house spiders and they do bite but not venomous. What??? We left at 10 30 pm and never going back!

A Getaway in the Forest

The accommodations were excellent as we were staying there because of upper extremity medical procedure in Bellevue and we live out of state. Everything was perfect. But I must be honest that I wouldn't recommend this lovely place if a person has walking issues/bad knees/foot/ankle issues etc. only because you have to go up and down some uneven footing/decking steps/rock stepping stones to get from the car to the daylight basement part of the lovely home. The other entrance is walking up a short slope through mulch to the street that also has a hill. The owner was an excellent host and went out of his way to have us park in a neighbor's driveway(when available) to help us unload the car. Inside of the daylight basement, it was well furnished and had a beautiful full bath and a 1/2 bath. The owner made the sleeper sofa in the living room extra special with additional memory foam mattress on top. I hope to stay there again. I give this place a 5-star rating.
