This campsite is best for real nature lovers, it is very private with a long crushed bluestone driveway.

The space
Your glamping experience in a 1975 classic Argosy Airstream will not disappoint! Your own private campsite, no other campers around! If you are looking to unplug this is a great space.
Enjoy the sounds of climax creek while being nestled under massive black walnut trees. A long crushed bluestone driveway ensures all cars can easily park right up to the site, no lugging bags far!

Inside the camper is a good mix of original charm and modern renovation. Twin beds or a double memory foam provide options for two single campers or a couple to enjoy this vintage RV experience. Kitchenette inside and by request we can provide outdoor grilling equipment for open fire cooking…or bbq on a charcoal grill, though with so many great dining options nearby it’s likely you’ll never need to!
AC/Heat for comfort…a full bathroom with hot water…this is not exactly roughing it;-).
Your own bonfire area is steps outside the camper to end your night toasting marshmallows under the stars.
On our adjoining properties we have two swimming holes and a wood fired Finnish sauna (fee based on 4 hour slots)
Fish or kayak in the Hudson River, shop at Coxsackie’s Antique Center or go grab a morning cappuccino and water kettle bagel…all just minutes away.
Popular cities of Athens, Catskill, and Hudson are all just a short drive and offer great dining and shopping. Reed Street is Coxsackie’s historic district and it’s on the Hudson River waterfront, quite charming.
Or simply stay at your site and read a great book!

You have exclusive access to your private campsite. We can offer trails and swimming holes on shared adjoining properties, simply ask if you are interested in these areas.
Other things to note
This is glamping, there is water and electric …a mini fridge, Nespresso original pods style coffee and toaster oven inside. Please request a charcoal grill to be left outside for your use. Bathroom is inside the camper, hand /standing shower (no tub).
Pets considered by request. Must be on leash at all times. $75 pet fee is actually a contribution to support @poochesoutofpuertorico in uniting Satos with adoptive families here in NY MA CT

We expect pets to be house trained and not to go on furniture. If your custom is to allow this please bring your own coverings. Also bring your own towels to wipe down your pet after walks or in inclement weather. Added cleaning will apply if our cleaners must do a deep cleaning to remove hair and prints / dirt from furniture or beds;-) we’ve been there, we understand it happens … we just want to ensure we can keep our pets allowed policy.
