Thank you for sharing your feedback, Brenda. We’re disappointed to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We take cleanliness extremely seriously, and our cabin is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for every guest. When concerns were brought to our attention during your stay, we went out of our way to address them, and our housekeeping team continued to follow up to make sure everything was taken care of and that you were comfortable. We genuinely made every effort to resolve the concerns raised and improve your experience, but unfortunately, it seemed that no matter what we did, there were continued concerns throughout the stay. We’re disappointed that our efforts were not reflected in your experience. Our property is a quiet, rustic cabin located in the forest, and it is intended to provide a peaceful nature experience rather than a traditional hotel environment. We understand that this type of accommodation may not be the right fit for everyone. We always welcome reasonable feedback and take it seriously, but we also believe it is important to acknowledge the effort our team makes to maintain a clean property and respond to guests when issues are brought to our attention. We’re sorry the stay did not meet your expectations and wish you well in your future travels

Thank you so much for your kind review and for staying with us! We’re very happy you enjoyed the simple glamping experience and found both the cabin and communal bathroom clean. We also truly appreciate your kind words about our communication and hosting. We appreciate the feedback regarding the outdoor area and mattress. Hydro is currently completing upgrades and some of the outdoor mess is unfortunately related to the ongoing work, but we are continuing to organize and improve the space as things progress. We will also look into the mattress to make sure future guests are even more comfortable. Thank you again and we hope to host you again soon!

Thank you for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoyed the cabin and its peaceful, secluded setting — it’s exactly what we hope our guests experience. We’d be happy to welcome you back anytime for another getaway

⸻ Thank you for your feedback—we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the heating did not meet your expectations. The cabin is equipped with a wood stove, space heater, and a diesel heater, which are typically more than sufficient to keep the space warm. Many of our guests actually enjoy the experience of using the wood stove, collecting firewood, and relaxing by the fire pit under the stars as part of the forest glamping atmosphere we aim to provide. Regarding the exterior, there was a recent windstorm that caused fallen branches and debris around the property. We were in the process of cleaning this up during your stay, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue maintaining the natural surroundings. We’re glad to hear you found the cabin clean and enjoyed the hot shower and well-maintained facilities. In addition to the hot and cold shower, we also offer a natural outdoor water feature near the cabin for guests who enjoy a more immersive nature experience. Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us continue to improve while still offering a unique and rustic getaway. Serdar

Thank you for your feedback. We take guest concerns seriously and would like to provide some clarification for future guests reading this review. Our cabin is a rustic nature retreat in a rural setting, and we are currently completing electrical upgrades that are expected to be finished within the next three weeks. During this transition, temporary interruptions to power and Wi-Fi may occur. We understand the importance of a comfortable stay and are working toward a permanent solution. Regarding the space heater, I was not aware it was not working during your stay. Had I been informed, I would have appreciated the opportunity to investigate the issue. We also investigated the concern regarding the black residue on the table. The cabin has a small woodstove, and our investigation indicated that the residue was consistent with ash and embers associated with its use. We have since reviewed our cleaning procedures and retrained our cleaning team to help prevent this from happening again. We have also followed up with our cleaning team regarding the other cleanliness concerns raised. We understand that a rustic cabin experience may differ from a conventional hotel stay, and we aim to represent our property and amenities as accurately as possible. We continue to invest time and effort into improvements to provide guests with a better experience. We appreciate feedback that helps us identify areas for improvement and remain committed to maintaining a welcoming nature retreat for future guests.

Thank you for your review! I’m glad you found the cabin peaceful — it’s exactly the kind of experience we hope to create for our guests. We’d love to host you again anytime.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and were able to relax and unwind in the peaceful surroundings—that’s exactly the experience we hope to provide. It’s great to know you found the cabin clean, cozy, and well-stocked, and that the little extras made a difference for you. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the cooler spring nights—this is very helpful for future guests. We wanted to share that we do have plans in place to add heat pumps to all of our family cabins, and we’re currently waiting on a hydro upgrade to support this. In the meantime, we’ve installed a diesel heater to provide additional warmth during colder stays. This past winter and spring have also been much colder than usual, which definitely made temperatures more noticeable. We’re glad the location worked out well for your plans and that you felt the privacy and natural setting added to your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime for another getaway! Thanks again for choosing our cabin 😊

Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review! We’re really glad to hear that once you found the cabin, you had a great experience and were able to enjoy the privacy and natural surroundings. We appreciate you pointing out that the location can be a bit tricky to find—this is helpful feedback, and we’ll work on improving directions to make arrival easier for future guests. It’s great to know you enjoyed the firewood and amenities, especially during the colder weather (and the bonus of fewer bugs this time of year!). We also appreciate your comments about the washroom and are happy to hear it met your needs and was well maintained. Your feedback about the loft stairs is very important to us—we understand they can feel steep for some guests. To make the space more comfortable and accessible, we’ve recently added a main-level sleeping option with a king-size bed, so guests now have the choice between the loft or staying on the main floor with no stairs required. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re really happy to hear you’d choose to stay with us again. You’re always welcome back anytime! Thanks again for your thoughtful feedback 😊

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry that your arrival did not feel as welcoming as it should have. Since the cabin is in the forest, we provide outdoor sandals for guests who wish to use the outdoor shower, and towels on the line are sometimes left to dry — but I understand how this could have been misinterpreted and will make sure it’s handled differently going forward. As for the fire pit, we often prepare wood for guests, and because there is so much wood in the area, we try to keep it stocked and ready — though I see how it may have appeared untidy on arrival, and I’ll ensure it’s neater moving forward. We have also followed up with our cleaner and reviewed our sanitation program with proper documentation to make sure bedding, floors, and all details meet the highest standards for every stay. The faucet and loft steps are being addressed as well to improve safety and comfort for families. I’m glad we could resolve some of your concerns quickly during your stay, and I truly appreciate your recognition of my responsiveness. Thank you again for your comments — they help us improve and make the cabin even better for future guests

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are disappointed that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we would like to clarify a few points for future guests reading this review. The cabin was supplied with two full rolls of toilet paper, and additional supplies can always be requested if needed. Regarding firewood, we communicated with you about bringing additional wood, and wood was subsequently brought to the cabin when requested. We also want to clarify the bathroom situation. The property has a full washroom facility with a shower, toilet, and running hot water available to guests. The portable washroom is an additional facility and is not intended to replace the main washroom. It is regularly serviced and cleaned, but guests are certainly welcome to use the full indoor washroom instead. The mattress is a California King, and we have received positive feedback from many guests regarding its comfort. We understand that mattress preferences are personal, and what is comfortable for one person may not be comfortable for another. Our property is intentionally secluded and surrounded by nature, which is a major part of the experience. We understand that this type of setting may not be for everyone. We always welcome constructive feedback and are happy to address legitimate concerns when they are brought to our attention during a stay. However, we feel it is important to clarify these points because several statements in this review do not accurately reflect what was provided. Our many other reviews better reflect the experience and amenities we strive to provide to our guests.

Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin, the comfortable bed, and the peaceful seclusion of the property. We’re sorry to hear you had difficulty locating the cabin. We reached out several times before your arrival with directions and were happy to help, but unfortunately we didn’t receive a response. Our cabins are intentionally private and spread throughout the forest to provide guests with a quiet, secluded experience, and many guests enjoy the sense of exploration that comes with discovering their cabin. Regarding the firewood, we appreciate your feedback. We provide a starter supply for guests to enjoy a fire upon arrival, and additional firewood is available if more is needed during the stay. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back for another relaxing stay.
