Beautiful Kiahuna Plantation Beachfront condominium resort in Sunny Poipu Beach, a vacation you will not forget. Enjoy 35 lush tropical acres situated on a gorgeous beach, which is great for sunning, swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, shelling or turtle and monk seal watching.(just to name a few activities)

In a couple of minutes you can be swimming in the ocean. After a swim in the ocean you can stroll the beach and try riding a few waves, or maybe just enjoy a good book and listen to the waves. Poipu Beach Park is very close to the condo and is very safe for children to swim or snorkel, according to the Travel Channel.

Kiahuna's grounds are spectacular. Take a stroll on the paths that weave around the resort. The Moir Gardens are the perfect example of why Kauai is 'the Garden Isle.' Within minutes you will walk through the aromatic orchid garden which has many different varieties of orchids. Close to the orchid garden is the cactus garden which has beautiful cacti from around the world as well as lily ponds complete with frogs on lily pads.

About our unit which is in the perfect location; between the beach and the pool:

Our non-smoking ground level condo, Beachhouse #80 in building 15, is typical island comfort and style with the niceties of home. We have a King size bed in the bedroom. We have remodeled corian shower in the bath. Our shower is a shower/tub combo as we do get many small children in our unit. We have a 40 inch HD-LCD Flat screen TV in the living room. Our living room couch is also a queen sofa sleeper. Walk out onto the lanai and step on the perfectly manicured lush green lawn, perfect for picnics or little ones to run around and play. Enjoy birds chirping and smell the heavenly flora while enjoying a delicious meal on the lanai. A gas BBQ grill, footsteps from your back-door, make meal preparation easy if you want to take advantage of the island lifestyle.

Kiahuna Plantation is a perfect tropical paradise; it is what comes to mind when one thinks of Hawaii. This unit enhances this experience with island comfort and convenience. When you rent directly from the owners you to know where you will be staying as well as what amenities our unit offers. You still have the 24 hour management staff available if you need them.

Kiahuna 80 offers free Wifi in and around unit.

Free membership to Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the street which is a 3-5 minute walk from Unit 80's front door. The Club offers both a pool, gym and tennis courts. Enjoy the sparkling pool with waterslide and sand beach for children.

Great location and remodeled unit

This unit doesnā€™t have an ocean view but it is an easy walk to see the ocean and the grounds. Itā€™s been remodeled and is clean and new. I highly recommend it.

Great clean, modern condo!

This was a great condo to stay in, it was clean and updated and the location was convenient to the athletic club. This was our third time at Kiahuna Plantation and this was probably our favorite condo! Thanks for providing a wonderful stay for our family.

Lovely bright, light and comfortable remodel! We were 4ā€¦ all getting up early together, so it was great! Bring your basics for kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, baggies) if you plan to do meals in like we did. Location is awesome!!!

Lovely remodeled condo

Our condo was very nice & clean with plenty of towels and everything we needed for our stay. The map of the property was a bit confusing and we assumed when we booked that "beachfront condo" meant the ocean would be visible from our deck which is not the case. (the resort itself is beachfront) It's not a long walk to the lawn overlooking the ocean and the beach. The condo has been nicely remodeled with a great kitchen and a bathtub.

Beautiful location

Really nice place with a full kitchen and separate sleeping area. The grounds were beautiful. Located close to shopping and eating places. It was just a short walk to the beach.

We came in from Idaho during the negative temps and it couldnā€™t have been at a more perfect time. This place was everything we hoped for. Close walking distance to food, stores, the beach ect. Very nice updated unit with plenty of amenities. Beach chairs, an umbrella and there are towel cards to exchange for towels each day. If you go across the street to use the pool, they give you towels do you donā€™t have to take your beach towels over there. We loved our stay and felt very relaxed when we got home.

Beautiful unit in fantastic location

We had such a wonderful time during our stay! The unit was newly renovated and updated, everythjng felt clean and like new! Loved being on the first floor and great for our toddler to enjoy the lawn outside the lanai. The grounds outside are beautiful and easy to walk to the beach. Also really loved the pool and workout facilities accross the street. It was nice having the AC for hotter days.Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for two

Beautiful place. Sliding back door doesnā€™t lock. Think it was in the listing? Had daughter sleeping on pull out in main room. Perfect for a few nights but with 3 two bedrooms would have been best for mornings and nights.

The property is lovely, with great views in every direction just steps away. The condo has beautiful furniture, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, and helpful beach gear to borrow. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend!

Nice place, nice location

My family enjoyed staying at the Kiahuna Plantation. The condo location itself was perfect to walk over to the pool, Little Fish Coffee, or the shopping center across the street. The grounds are kept super nice and it was also easy to walk over to Poipu Beach for my kids to go snorkeling. Would definitely stay there again.

The place was not bad, needs to be updated a little bit in the kitchen with the pots and pans and dishes and glasses. The only bad thing was the water pressure was extremely low, not sure if itā€™s just the showerhead or the water pressure in general.

Family stay

We took our family on this trip to Kauai. They stayed in a larger unit. Our stay was as expected- comfortable, located in a distant corner of the Kiahuna property from the beach. The only factor that prevented a perfect score was the condition of the unit. It was superficially clean but needed a good going over with stained doors and cabinets, not acceptable this day and age. One pays a considerable cleaning fee. Lastly the oven had a big sign noting that it was not functional. No advanced warning or explanation. Not a big deal for us but also not acceptable.

The plantation is worth staying at!

I usually donā€™t review stuff, but I know how much I rely on the reviews to choose a place. The resort this condo is on is incredible. Beautiful property, the best sunrises/sunsets, close to coffee. (A must) We had a toddler and being on the ground floor was great. We had no issues with keeping it cool and saw zero bugs. All I will say is that it was a bit chaotic at check in because our flights were delayed and we got in late. The check in info from the owner says open 24 hrs, but the office closes at 8. So after a long travel day we had to figure out how to get into our place with no direction. Just felt like he shouldā€™ve checked in and sent more information that a map and some links to local food places! Overall we would stay again. I wouldā€™ve just appreciated a little more detail for check in and check out!

Not the best

No AC (while there is a nice cross breeze in the living room with the vents open, the bedroom got little airflow and was hot). Pretty noisy (you can pretty much hear everything in the neighboring condos) and not much privacy. Couple cockroaches on the wall (although I guess that can be expected in a tropical environment?). Overall fairly low quality (in terms of linens, kitchen appliances, etc) with few if any personal touches. Pictures are accurateā€”itā€™s a pretty dated place. Not a disaster by any means but also donā€™t recommend staying here if you can avoid it.
