Welcome to The Willis - This cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom suite is on the first floor with a open layout and a warm & bold vibe. Great for up to 4 guests and super close to downtown Champaign and the U of I campus. Checking in is a breeze with a private entry code and smart lock, and you'll find the entrance through the enclosed porch at the front of the house.

You've got the whole suite to yourself. Please note, the second-level apartment on the left side of the home is a separate rental suite, and respect quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am to ensure everyone has a great stay. Need help during your stay? Reach out via text or phone, and I'll be here for you!

Wonderful Stay

Extremely comfortable with all the amenities needed. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was nicely stocked. The beds were very comfortable.

Perfect location

The Willis was the perfect location for us- right in between the apartments our son was moving from and to and so close to everything, yet very quiet. It was very spacious and our host was very gracious and attentive. Clean and very comfy beds.

Perfect size for family of 5

Rin was very helpful and communication was great. They place was perfect for my family. Plenty of space and amenities were good and kitchen well organized to easily find where things were. Would stay again.

Comfortable and clean

Check-in was very easy. The property was clean and comfortable for my whole family. Wifi access was great. We cooked our meals in the kitchen and most supplies to clean up were available. Neighborhood is quiet and very close to downtown Champaign. I would definitely stay here again.

Visit to daughter at U of I

Visited our daughter over 4th. Took train for a day trip to Chicago. House was clea. And communication from host was good. If you are looking for a clean place to stay while you visit Champaign this is a good option.

UIUC drop-off

We stayed for five days. The location was perfect for us, great sleeping accommodations. Rin was available if we needed anything, but fortunately, we had what we required. Thanks again!

Girls Weekend

Cute house in a nice neighborhood that was close to town for drinks and food. The house was clean and had everything we needed as far as towels, kitchen supplies, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Check in was easy and Rin checked in with me a couple of times over the weekend to make sure we didn’t need anything. I would highly recommend the Willis to anyone.

Great beds

We checked in late in the evening, and it would have been nice to have a light on. But we made it work. When we opened the door, there was a very musty smell so I turned on the air-conditioning fan which helped a lot. The table was wonderful as we brought all of our stuff in and flopped into bed. Very comfortable beds although a mixture of fluffy to thin pillows would be a plus. The bathroom was large and the shower was great. A rug in front of sink area would be a great addition. I loved how everything in the kitchen area was labeled so I didn't have to guess which cupboard to open. The dishwasher also was a plus as we didn't have to wash dishes until the morning we left as we didn't stay there and cook or anything. Take a walk about the area in the daytime to appreciate how all the homes landscape so there isn't a lot of mowing happening. Very pretty area. I'd stay again. Thanks to Rin for being attentive to our needs.

Very pretty cozy and clean

Rin's place was lovely! The beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in. It was very quiet and spacious. Great place to stay if you have a family kids can have their own room, mom and dad can have theirs as well in the back, far away enough for privacy. The house was musty when we walked in, I addressed it with Rin and she graciously went out bought a couple air purifiers! Such an amazing and very attentive host. We will definitely look into booking this again.

Willing to flex with our needs

Mary was great with communication, attentive and check-in/check-out was very easy. She flexed with our needs while we were there to support our athlete attending an athletic camp at U of I. She and her cleaning lady were also willing to flex with our checkout as we needed a little extra time before sending off a loved one back to USMC. This was huge for us. The property was very clean inside the house. The back porch/steps need cleaning off, but we didn’t need to access the back anyway. The interior is comfortable and clean. Huge table for hanging with the fam or friends and having a nice meal or spreading out for a work project or reading. Couch is comfy. Lamp needed a lightbulb. Cute back room hanging lights weren’t connected (which was part of the appeal of this nook room with a simple, cute theme), but our Host was willing to let us connect them. We just didn’t because we didn’t want to break anything. Thoughtfulness even in bathroom supplies- ECO-friendly! :) WiFi worked well. There was a bit of coming and going and noise with the neighbors kiddie corner across the street, but otherwise the neighborhood was decent. The outside could use a bit of a pick-me-up. The porch is screened-in, but screens need repair/replacement. It was still nice to sit in the rocking chair in the morning with a cup of coffee and do some work on my iPad. :) We would likely stay again if in the area for an overnight again. :)

Cozy and relaxing stay. Everything that you need to spend time with family.

Great place, comfortable, and quiet. Equipped kitchen made the stay much easier to cook homemade meals and feel like home.
