SUMMARY

Lilac gardens and 80 year old apricot trees embrace this adobe family compound in the heart of the historic district. Hacienda Rose was hand built between 1968 and 1971 using many custom, traditional and handmade elements. The guest house, Adobe Rose, is much older, dating back to the days when Camino Don Miguel was a busy little mercantile street. Two Casitas is confident that Hacienda and Adobe Rose will become a part of your fond memories of Santa Fe. The compound also contains one casita that is sometimes occupied by the homeowner.



LIVING AREA, KITCHEN AND DINING

Natural straw bound adobe walls, handmade doors, traditional vigas and a kiva fireplace; this is vintage Santa Fe. Laid back, easy, comfortable. The dining table can seat ten and there is a separate den with flat-screen TV.



BED AND BATH

Comfortably sleep up to 10 guests in three king beds and two queen beds, one of those king beds being in Adobe Rose, the guest house. Each bedroom has been lovingly appointed with Santa Fe collectibles and treasures from New Mexico. The large guest bath has been recently renovated to feature a double-headed walk-in shower. Additionally it features Mexican tile and a clawfoot tub. The ensuite second bath reflects the larger bathroom with Mexican tile and an arched shower entry.



OUTDOOR SPACE

A charming patio has been added to the property, complete with outdoor seating where you can relax.



LOCATION

.3 miles to Canyon Road (Historic East Side 5-minute walk)

1.2 miles to The Plaza (25-minute walk)

1.6 miles to Railyard (32-minute walk)



Close to Geronimo, The Compound, Thai on Canyon and the Tea House. Drive up to the 525 acre Nature Conservancy Santa Fe Canyon Preserve located a short distance on Upper Canyon Road for beautiful hiking. A stroll through this historic neighborhood will bring you to the Downtown Subscription for you morning coffee.

- The compound also contains one casita that is sometimes occupied by the homeowner.

- The fireplace is available from October 15th - April 15th

- This home is NOT pet-friendly. Our cleaning staff reports pet hair to us after each checkout. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $1,000 fee.

Toilet in master runs constantly there needs to be a full length mirror, either centrally located outside of the bedrooms or in each bedroom;Add lighting from the parking areas along the entrance… There is no light when you’re coming in in the evenings;Rugs! All rugs need to be secured to the floor. They are a trip hazard! Such a beautiful place…we had a wonderful stay…thank you

Perfect Santa Fe Vacation Rental

Adobe Rose invites you into a world of historic Santa Fe but with all the modern amenities. Just off Canyon Road and a short walk or drive to Downtown Subscription or the Teahouse for coffee, this property is excellenty located. Will definitely be staying here again.

A most awesome property!

Our stay at the Hacienda in Santa Fe was perfect! The home is beautiful, historic, very well appointed and has everything needed for a wonderful stay. It’s a great property for strolling the neighborhood, going on beautiful hikes, and just hanging out playing games and enjoying the property.

We had a great stay! The house was equipped with everything we needed -- and more -- and the location couldn't be beat! The house was amazing! Would highly recommend it for a large group or a family that needs to spread out! Dinner on the patio every night was the best!

Wonderful spot for family reunion

Although the house was spotlessly cleaned - it could use a little owner attention. Listing with multiple renting services seemed to create lack of proprietary interest.

If any guest is ever unhappy with any aspect of our homes, we are more than happy to forward the comments to the owners, and we will proactively push for those issues to be resolved. Regarding the multiple listing sites, this is totally standard practice, and is completely disconnected from the maintenance of the home. Our advertising and customer service department is separate from our maintenance and quality control staff. We are a professional property management service that is fully capable of both advertising and maintaining our homes as long as we receive fair and specific feedback from our guests. If you would like to contact Two Casitas and provide us with any specific information as to what was wrong with the home, we will immediately begin resolving the issues.

Old World charm

This home is full of old world charm and is very clean. Comfortable beds, good toilet paper and a well-stocked kitchen were great not to mention the woodburning fireplace and original art throughout the home. The Host was quick to respond to questions. We recommend this home and hope to return in the future.
