Welcome to The Nomads Rest, a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat designed for comfort, convenience, and connection. Perfect for families, groups, or remote work, this home offers everything you need for a luxurious and seamless stay in Bossier City. Larger group of 7-12 people and want to stay together? No problem, just ask! We can accommodate your entire group with both our homes right across from each other (Pending Dual Availability).

The master suite is secluded at one end of the home, offering privacy, a plush queen bed, and a private bath; ideal for couples or anyone wanting a peaceful retreat. At the opposite end of the home, the additional bedrooms provide a comfy queen bed in the second. In the third, there is a versatile yet very comfortable combo bed that can be configured as a twin, two twins, or a king, ensuring flexibility for families or friends traveling together. Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished with cozy linens and functional pieces to help guests unwind. Our home is equipped with a sound machine and adjustable fans for each room to ensure you sleep well.

The kitchen is the heart of the home, featuring a large island bar with seating for four for casual meals, game night, or morning coffee. A window-side pub table for two offers a quiet spot for breakfast or planning your day. For remote work, there’s a dedicated office space with a full-size desk, leather office chair, and fiber Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay connected. Great for Military guests, medical professionals, or any other hard working folks that may be planning a longer stay, or need to work while you are here.

The living room is inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating for gathering, streaming your favorite subscriptions on the large smart TV (just don't forget to log out), DVD player, or simply relaxing after a busy day. Step outside to the covered patio and fenced backyard to enjoy morning coffee or unwind under the stars. There is a basketball goal and ball with a mini court area for those outdoor ball enthusiasts. Just watch out for that uneven Louisiana Ground.

Located just across the street from our original location: The Nomads Nest, guests can enjoy all the conveniences and local flavor of the area. You’re only 2 minutes from Barksdale Air Force Base and within 20 minutes all top-rated hospitals, Brookshire Grocery Arena, casinos, restaurants, shopping, scenic walking trails, and riverfront parks, giving you plenty of options for work, recreation, or exploration of all the best Bossier City and nearby Shreveport have to offer.

Thoughtful touches throughout the home include complimentary drip & Keurig coffee, bottled water, snacks, stocked seasonings, and an oversized laundry area; everything you need to settle in and feel at home from the moment you arrive.

No matter the reason for your travel, it is our pleasure to host you and we assure you will find our house to be your home away from home the moment you walk through the door.

Guest access
The entire home is yours to use and enjoy with the exception of an owners closet, a private cabinet, and the shed in the back.

Other things to note
For the comfort of all guests, this home is maintained as a pet-free property during its time as a short-term rental. Prior to our ownership, a family dog previously lived in the home. Since becoming an Airbnb, the home has been professionally cleaned and maintained to support guests with pet sensitivities and allergies.

You may occasionally see a friendly neighborhood cat that passes through the yard or visits the windows from time to time. The cat is not associated with the home and has never entered the property. This is mentioned simply as a courtesy for guests with heightened pet sensitivities.

For everyone’s safety, the property is equipped with exterior security cameras that monitor the front entrance, driveway, and the rear entrance/backyard. There are no cameras inside the home, and your privacy is fully respected during your stay.
