Positioned right on the edge of Whangārei Harbour, you’ll have exclusive use of this standalone home.

Offering wide harbour views and spectacular sunsets across the water. It’s the sort of spot where your days will revolve around being at the beach or out on the water, while in your evenings, you will have a long soak in the Hot Tub, a classic BBQ, and enjoy great times together.

Bedrooms:
The home has four bedrooms inside the main house, plus a basic external sleepout.
- Master Bedroom: Queen bed with views across the harbour, Smart TV, heat pump/aircon unit, drawers and a wardrobe with hanging space.
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed, plus a wardrobe with drawers and hanging space.
- Bedroom 3: Queen bed, plus a wardrobe with drawers and hanging space.
- Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): Queen bed with harbour views, its own lounge area with sofas, opening directly onto its own deck area.
- External Sleepout: This is a basic external structure (shed setup). It is perfect as an extra overflow room but is not styled as a primary luxury bedroom. It features a Queen bed, a bedside table & lamp, a Dyson fan for cooling or heating, and a chair. The toilet and bathroom are inside the main house.

Bathrooms & Laundry:
- Main Bathroom: Large walk in shower, bath, vanity unit, and a toilet.
- Second Bathroom: Toilet and a hand basin.
- Laundry: Washing machine and dryer plus outdoor clothesline.

- Water & Beach Access: Right on the edge of a harbour beach, where swimming is best at high tide.
- Marsden Bay Yacht Club/Boat Ramp: Literally 400m away - perfect for launching your boat quickly.
- Marsden Cove Marina: A quick 5-minute drive to the Marina for boat launching, and Cafe’s and Restaurants.
- Local Cafes, Dining & Takeaways: Close by, with different options for cafes and restaurants, plus takeaway options for easy meals.
- Four Square Supermarket: Close by at the Marina for all your essential supplies.
- Ruakākā Beach & Shopping Centre: A 10-minute drive.
- Waipu Golf Club: A 12 minute drive - you must go here if you play golf!
- Waipu: A 15-minute drive to Waipu Cove and the historic township.

You will have the whole house to yourselves. Plenty of parking and room for your boat.

We manage the home for the owners. It is set up for self check-in, and we will always be available if you need us. We find it is usually best communicating through the booking app or via text messages.

One Tree Point and Marsden Cove offer the perfect setting for rest and relaxation. While the area is experiencing growth, it maintains a laid-back, peaceful atmosphere for most of the year, with the exception of a bustling few weeks over Christmas. Enjoy walking, biking, swimming, paddleboarding, or simply unwinding with a good book. Take a leisurely stroll to the café in the canal development or wander the paths around the Marina.

Boat launching is convenient, with ramps available at both Marsden Cove Marina and One Tree Point. The Marina itself is close by, featuring a couple of cafe`s and restaurants. Great places for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner right by the water.

For beach enthusiasts, Ruakākā Surf Beach is only a 10-minute drive away. Alternatively, venture a bit further to Waipū Cove, which was crowned New Zealand`s Best Family Beach and Best Camping Beach in 2025. This picturesque spot offers safe swimming, excellent surf and a relaxed coastal vibe. Just beyond Waipū Cove lies Langs Beach, a hidden gem known for its golden sands and clear turquoise waters – perfect for a quieter beach experience.

Golfers won’t want to miss the Waipū Golf Course – a full 18-hole course set right by the sea, with stunning views and a great café to enjoy before or after your round.

You`ll find a Four Square supermarket at the Marina for your essentials, and the Ruakākā Shopping Centre is just a 10-minute drive away for more extensive shopping needs. Further along, the charming town of Waipū boasts a rich Scottish heritage, boutique shops, a museum and delightful cafés to explore.

There is no public transport in the area - you`ll need your own car. Bring bikes as it is a perfect area for riding around, but just as good to walk around - we recommend stopping off at one of the cafes in the Marsden Cove Marina!

SLEEPOUT EXPECTATION: Please note that the sleepout is a basic external structure (converted shed space) with a Queen bed. It serves as an optional extra bedding choice but is not primary luxury accommodation.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION FOR ADULTS: Please be sure to check photos and descriptions to ensure the bedding configuration suits your group. There are no single beds - all beds are Queen sized.

LINEN & SUPPLIES: We provide all bed linen, towels, and basic essentials to ensure a comfortable arrival. Just bring your own beach towels.

QUIET RESIDENTIAL AREA: This is a peaceful neighborhood and strictly NOT a party house. Although we want you to have a great time, we appreciate your help in respecting our neighbours by keeping noise levels low, especially in the evenings.

WATER SAFETY: The section has direct access to the unfenced harbour water. If you are travelling with young children, please ensure they are closely supervised at all times when outside.
