“Rhyll Harbour Views” is a delightful double-storey family and pet-friendly home in Rhyll. Just a comfortable walk from the beach and a short drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes, some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Entry to the home is via a small set of steps leading to the ground floor, which opens into a central hallway with an internal staircase to the upper level. Also on the ground floor are a second Living area (with a 32" Smart TV), Bedroom 2 (with a freestanding robe), Bedroom 3 featuring an Ensuite (with a shower), a separate, fully equipped Laundry (with a washing machine and clothes dryer), and a separate powder room with a Toilet.
Upstairs, the recently renovated open plan Kitchen/Living area (with a 52" Smart TV with Chromecast/Apple TV, and a selection of games/books/magazines) flows onto the partially covered front Balcony (with an electric BBQ) and lovely water views. Adjacent to the Living area is a separate Lounge, while Bedroom 1 (with a freestanding robe) and the main Bathroom (with a shower & Toilet) are also located on this level.
Outdoor Areas
The home features a spacious, partially covered front Balcony (with an electric BBQ and 6 outdoor chairs), where guests can relax and take in the lovely water views across Rhyll. At ground level, there is also a private, enclosed rear yard (with a table and benches), providing an additional outdoor space to enjoy and making it an ideal spot for children and pets. Parking is available for up to 6 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the front yard and driveway. The garage is not available for guest use.
Please note: The home has external security cameras located at the front door, front yard, rear yard and garage. These do not face any internal private areas.
Kitchen
The fully appointed, brand-new kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle and more, plus a double sink, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cooktop.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are three wall-mounted reverse-cycle air conditioners throughout the home, located in the upstairs open-plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area, the downstairs second Living room, and Bedroom 3 downstairs. Ceiling fans are also provided in both Living areas and all three bedrooms for added comfort year-round.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 9 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed and one set of Single bunks Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk bed
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
