Charming Cape Cod tastefully decorated in a nautical theme. Includes all the comforts of home. Features two bedrooms (total of 3 queen beds), loft with full bed, 1 and 1/2 baths, fully equipped galley kitchen, dining area, living room with additional queen sleeper sofa, patio with patio set, umbrella and BBQ grill, and large fenced yard. Amenities include central air, BBQ grill, new washer and dryer, hair dryers, dishwasher, Keurig and drip coffeemakers, microwave, telephone, DVD/TV, DIRECTV, and wi-fi. New electric range and laminate floors throughout lower level. Smoke detectors (multiple) and carbon monoxide detectors on every level.

Weekly Rents only between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Sunday to Sunday.

Great Location

This was our second stay at this property. The location and cleanliness can’t be beat! It was well stocked for our stay. Communication with the owner was very thorough. Great value for the price.

Incredible Location

Hard to beat the location of this property. It’s within walking distance of everything…beach, splash pad, farmers market, downtown. And while the train is directly out back, our 18 month old had no issue napping or sleeping. The back patio is a nice for hanging out at night. We had a very nice stay!

Fun summer vacation

This house was a good base for our family of 4 to stay, the kids had the upstairs beds and we took the downstairs. The location is perfect, a quick walk to the beach and downtown. We highly recommend it!

Great place to stay at St Joes!

Our family of six kids ranging from 2-9 stayed for the week. We loved the locations super close to the beach, and silver beach pizza. Fenced in Backyard is great for families. Four beds and a pull out couch made great room for everyone.

Perfect home for our family vacation. Loved the walkability!

We loved the house for our family of 5! We walked everywhere…beach, carousel, splash pad, restaurants, farmers market, town center for shopping. Ample beds to fit all of us comfortably, fully stocked kitchen, wagon provided to haul stuff to the beach, etc. We loved our stay in St Joseph and would definitely return!

Great Location

We enjoyed our time staying at this home. It was just off the beach and a short distance from town. House was nicely decorated and furnished. We ate ever dinner out at the patio set and played cards there till late evening. I have already recommended it to friends.

Great Spot

This house was in a great location. We could walk anywhere. It was very, very clean. The beds were comfortable. Our only wish was that they had a hair dryer there. All in all it was a good place to stay and explore Saint Joseph.

Great location in St. Joe

Fantastic location and plenty of space for my family of four. Some furniture and property are aging a little, but it was generally clean and everything worked fine. I would recommend this rental to friends and family. Communication was quick when we had a couple of questions.

Perfect family vacation home

This house was great for our family vacation. One of the main draws was the fenced in yard for our toddler age kids. Also being close to the beach was a big selling point. The house was equiped with everything we needed to cook our meals, wash clothes and towels, and entertaining the kids with some TV. We had wagons to haul everything to the beach including a beach umbrella. We'll definitely add this house to our list of summer vacation stops.

A comfortable house conveniently located near the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The beach, downtown shopping and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. With the Amtrak station nearby one could venture into downtown Chicago without using a car. Larger stores such as Meijer, Walmart, JC Pennys and well known nation-wide restaurants are within short driving distances. I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone who wants to get away from the daily routines and still would like to have access to modern conveniences when needed. I do have a suggestion for improvement. I wish the garage could be used by the guests. This would have prevented one of our cars parking in the driveway with its tail-end sticking out into the street. A more careful checking of the lights before the guests' arrival would be appreciated. The lights in the back room and by the front and back doors did not come on at all. It could be due to a non-working switch or a burned out light bulb.

Hi Peter, Glad you enjoyed your stay and liked the location of Sun and Sand on Vine. I am sorry you weren’t aware, but there are eight parking spaces behind the fence in the back of the property. Also maintenance checked and the light bulb has been replaced. Thanks again for visiting and hope to see you again in the near future.

Relaxing Get-away

Convienent, clean and quiet (even with the train so close). More like a old fashion cottage but had everything we needed. Clean backyard and patio made for a nice dinner setting and relaxing evenings.

Cute house, great location

A great place to stay near the beach and downtown in St. Joseph. Fenced property backs up to the tracks, only basic satellite channels and wifi is low bandwidth, but those were only downsides if that matters to you. We would recommend this house to anyone.

Great Property

I want to start off by saying this a great property and we enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless when we arrived (a must when traveling with a 1 year old that is always on the floor). The listing accurately denotes all amenities and the house is well appointed with everything you might need. The house is very close to the beach and a pizza restaurant. I did want to share the information below for people traveling with young children for awareness only. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and 1 with 2 queen beds. The one with 2 queen beds is on the ground floor while the one with 1 queen bed is upstairs. We have a 1 and 4 year old so it wasn't ideal to leave the children downstairs while we were upstairs. We figured it out but it was not the best floor plan for our family. Also, the house is in a great location. If you haven't been to St. Joseph you may not be aware that the beach is at the bottom of a huge hill and most the of the restaurants are up at the top of the hill. The house is located at the bottom of the hill near the beach. If you plan to walk, which is doable, you will need to cart children up the hill for meals if you plan to eat out. I got a work out pushing the stroller up the hill 3 times a day.

Clean and bright

Excellent location with plenty of room to rest. The place was amazingly clean. Loved the fenced in yard, little dishwasher, and the ability to walk anywhere nearby.

Close to Everything

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed using the wagon for taking our Granddaughter to the splash pad and to the beach. It was a hot week but the air conditioning kept us cool. We would love to come back in the future.

Great Find

This house was just as reviewed by other travelers. It felt clean as soon as we walked in the door. The house was well supplied for our stay. Communication with the hosts was timely and thorough. Great location; 5 minute walk to the beach and the downtown area. Can’t recommend it enough. This was our second year vacationing in St Joe, and this was a much better stay than our other rental experience.
