The views are incredible. The cabin is so warm and comfortable. So easy to relax and unwind with friends. There’s plenty of space inside and out to spread out. We loved the privacy of the area as well. The hot tub was comfy, not overpowering.

This was by far one of the nicest and most spacious cabins we have stayed and we have come twice a year for about 25 years. The Christmas decorations were amazing. It was clean and well-stocked. The views were amazing and the sunrise was gorgeous. We have already booked for next year

Excellent, quiet stay in the Smokies

My wife and I spent the weekend at this wonderful cabin. All the pictures are accurate and the instructions provided were perfect as well. Highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful view

We loved staying at this cabin. It is in a quite area and the view is beautiful. Beds are comfy and kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook with. Definitely recommend staying at this cabin!

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was clean, spacious, and very cozy,perfect for our large family. The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking and made every morning and evening feel special. The space comfortably slept everyone. The host was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.This cabin created beautiful memories for our family, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and comfortable mountain getaway. Fantastic Cabin with Fantastic View

I can only say great things about this property. Plenty of space close enough to Pigeon Forge, but far enough to not be caught up in the hustle and bustle of the spring break croud. Would totally stay there again. Hopefully, next time we get to see a bear!

Gorgeous and comfortable home

Beautiful Peaceful Tranquility

I really do not have much to say as it was as "advertised". Beautifully set on what feels like a back road with remarkable views. Look at all the reviews and youll get the 5* rating.

The cabin was lovely, and the views were spectacular. There was construction started that changed the look of the property. Although this was not a hindrance to our stay we were not told of this until the night before our arrival. We greatly enjoyed the fire pit. One guest received several bug bites in bed one night.

Great family vacation

Our family, ages 13-77, had a great stay. The home is beautiful. The views were amazing. The decor was fun. Comfy beds and furniture. Great porches for sitting and listening to the birds. We had several bears, a coyote, and a deer visit. The location was great as we went to Cades Cove a couple times, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. It’s away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to all the attractions. There are a fair amount of steps throughout the house. The elevator was out during our stay but that couldn’t be helped and you are in the mountains. The addition that is being added looks amazing and will take care of the narrow dining room. We highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again!

Christmas Break at Shady Maples Lodge

We were booked to arrive on 12/26. However, the storm of the decade said "no". On the evening of our arrival the area received several inches of snow making travel to just about anywhere impossible. The road to the cabin was impassible unless one had a tank. We ended up in several local hotels. On the 27th we were able to make it up the roads to the gorgeous cabin. It was very clean, warm, and complete with amenities as advertised. It's located close to Smokey Mountain NP and allowed for easy access to several hiking trails, waterfalls and Cades Cove. Pigeons Forge and Gatlinburg were within 40 minutes. The week between Christmas and New Years Day was very busy. Gatlinburg and Cades Cove were crowded. Great cabin! Thanks.

Best Sunrise View!

This was a beautiful location with the most outstanding view of the sunrise in the morning. Ideal location to go into GSMNP or Cades Cove, Wears Valley, or even in town to Maryville. The location truly is the peaceful side of the Smokies... pace is so much better than Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg. Recommend Dancing Bear for coffee at Apple Valley. Elvira's in Wears Valley for lunch/dinner. Mountain Brothers General Store is our favorite for shopping. Davy Crockett for horseback riding in Townsend too. Enjoy your time & unwind!
