Simple comfortable furnishings, convenient location, beautiful wooded neighborhood park with tennis and 'pickle-ball' courts. Many hikes and natural attractions nearby. Spacious work station and strong internet capacity. Price plan weighted to give advantage to longer term stay. The house is presently available April 1 to April 16, 2023 -- in time for Tulip Festival! It is booked before and after that. Skagit Valley is calling you!

Comfortable home for extended stay

We had to change our plans a few times and owner was very accommodating. Close to a nice park and nice area to go for walks.

Laura was a great at communication. The home was very clean and perfect for a family. We would definitely stay again!

Nice house

A cute house. Great experience fresh peach picking from the tree. They were juicy and very sweet. There was unfortunate that the owner and manager on site were both out of town at the same time during my stay. Also we got plumping problem at that time on one of the night. The owner contacted the plumber and notified us in the following afternoon. Other than that everything else was fine.

House was exactly as described. Good neighborhood and very clean.

The house and check in process were great. Our only issue was that the property helper (not the owners) came in unannounced and without knocking on three separate occasions claiming that we were supposed to have checked out. Despite showing our reservation and the offer to show communication with the owner the issue persisted until we left on our check out day.

My big apologies! Summer has gone so smoothly, but it was my fault this schedule mistake. I had sent Housekeeping Service the "complete" summer schedule in June. Thought I updated after I had a cancellation and new reservation (yours). On top of that, I was out of cellular range four days when this glitch occurred so Housekeeping Service tried their best - my bad. I'm learning to be more attentive to follow-through on scheduling changes!

Wedding Weekend

Short walk from a great park with tennis courts. Amazing large backyard, plenty of space and bedding options for my groomsmen. Overall, I would definitely stay here again with a large group.

Aaron, I'm happy you enjoyed your stay! I would caution anyone reading your review, however - the house is really not appropriate for "a large group." The plumbing is made for an earlier era, would be overwhelmed with more than 4 or 5 guests. But I'm delighted that your La Conner wedding was good fun!

Quiet Location with Easy Access to Much More

The house was as advertised. Older established Mount Vernon neighborhood with quick access to LaConner, Bellingham, north Whidbey, and Anacortes. We walked on the Anacortes ferry (36 minutes from the house) to Lopez Island for a day of biking. Had a great time there. The next day we drove to Bellingham (about a half hour also), visited Whatcom Falls Park and Fairhaven, and took Chuckanut Drive for our return. Scenic and peaceful. This morning we drove to the top of Little Mountain (the biggest hunk of Little Mountain Park), which was less than ten minutes from the house. Good times! As for the house itself, it was comfortable and well-equipped. The owner was accessible and easy to work with. I can't rate the TV service. Too busy to watch it!

Just as advertised and more.

Very convenient location and close to all things. Very clean and easy stay. I really enjoyed sitting on the back porch and listening to the rain and the birds.

Nice place to stay

The owner was great to deal with, the property manager was very nice and helpful. Neighborhood was quiet and nice. We had an overall great experience here.
