The minute you step inside this cozy custom newly built one story cabin you notice the luxury details in the spacious great room with wood details on ceilings and wall and breath-taking cathedral windows. Stunning custom knotty pine doors throughout, upgraded luxury flooring in all areas. Split floorplan with the primary suite and 1 guest room on one side and another guest rm and bunk room on the other. The Primary Suite Bath has beautiful double sinks, a huge tile shower with 2 showerheads. 2 other full baths in this cabin, one with a tub/shower the other with a large walk-in shower.
Enjoy watching the Elk herds pass from the massive decks both in front and back of cabin, sit around the firepit up on the back deck enjoying your favorite beverage and roasting marshmallows. Bring your toys to go explore some of the nearby lakes, Blue Ridge reservoir, or venture back into the forest. Enjoy a day trip to Flagstaff or stand in the corner of Winslow Arizona (Eagles song, but you really should go). Take some time to visit the attractions, shops and restaurants in Pine and Strawberry.

Fantastic Place

This was by far the nicest property I have ever rented. We just didn’t have time to fully enjoy it. Highly recommend for a mountain getaway.

Amazing Cabin, love the deer & elk experience!

The cabin was exactly as pictured! Super cozy and welcoming! We loved the deer and elk coming over each evening to feed right outside the back deck! Our host Chad was great and super helpful during the whole stay. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Every year we take a family vacation to escape the heat which includes our kids, grandkids, and dogs.This home was by far the nicest we have stayed at. Incredible split floor plan worked well for our family. Bonus was the wonderful patio where we enjoyed playing board games, making s’mores and enjoying the daily visits from the elks. Chad was easy to get in touch with for any questions we had.

Family cabin trip

Such a beautiful cabin. Spacious, perfect for our entire family with our pets. The owner was extremely accommodating and I really appreciate all the updates about weather and wide life in the area during our stay. Would stay again!

Elegant comfort

Exceptional home in Happy Jack

I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home in Happy Jack. It does not disappoint. Great location, beautiful home, and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Amazing hospitality

I rented this cabin for some friends and they loved it. Communication from the hosts was top notch and everything that they needed was available. If I could give this property 10 stars, I would.

This place is the bomb. Getting to see the Elk almost every night of our stay was a big Bonus. Our host was so helpful with everything. Can't wait to visit again. This house is everything it said it was and more. So quiet and relaxing.

We had an incredible stay at Chad’s cabin in Blue Ridge. From the start, Chad was very communicative and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area. Thanks to his local knowledge, we fished at two different spots and caught rainbow trout both days.The cabin was picture perfect inside and out, incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can’t wait to book another group trip here soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

Elk!!!!

Stayed 3 nights, last night we were visited by 13 elk in the backyard. The house had everything we needed, if you want peace and quiet this is the place!! Definitely coming back !!

Quiet Relaxation

I almost don't want to say how much we love visiting this spot in Happy Jack because I don't want others to find out about it! Quickly becoming our favorite cabin to visit. The beautiful herd of elk that visited us twice this weekend was icing on the cake. Gorgeous house, great hosts and remote, peaceful wilderness. A very special place.

Wonderful Stay

Everything about the house is wonderful. Chad was very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. The house is just as it is described in the listing. We saw elk every night and most mornings as well. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family and would definitely staying there again.

Amazing Stay!

Absolutely beautiful new home with a great layout and beautiful furnishings. Our entire family really enjoyed stay here. Not only was the house great but so we’re all of the available trails for us to explore with our CanAms. Chad was a great host and made our stay so very easy. We hope to return again very soon. Honestly, there isn’t a better place to stay in the area, it’s without a doubt the best place.

Lovely Holiday!

The location is far out there, but totally worth it! The home is spectacular and has everything you need to be comfortable. Chad made us feel right at home and was very attentive. We were able to cook a 5 course Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen and it had all the cookware we required. The beds were very comfortable and we all LOVED the master shower. We will definitely be back.

Happy Jack Cabin is Top Notch

The cabin is beyond (we need to keep it our secret ;))! Beautifully built and designed, comfortable and spacious, plush bedding, patios in front and back to enjoy downtime or wildlife, and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. Lots of trails to explore by foot, mountain bike or four wheelers nearby. Blue Ridge is close for paddleboarding or kayaking. Chad was a fantastic host/owner and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. It’s quiet and peaceful in Happy Jack. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a spot!!!

Everything was perfect. This house is beautiful and the hosts were great! We were promised elk and we sure got them!! Great get-away with my family. Everyone wants to make it a yearly event. Maybe twice a year!! Thanks for everything.

Paradise in the Pines

This property was phenomenal. The floor plan was perfect for 6 adults and 2 small children. We watched the elk from the back patio every evening and also had deer come to visit on our last night. We stayed on property for the entire week enjoyed playing corn hole, lawn games, board games, etc. The owner Chad spared no expense and thought of everything you could possibly need. The decor and amenities were simply top notch. Thank you for a terrific week!

Incredible

Everything was absolutely perfect. The host provides the perfect amount of communication. Everything about the house was set up exactly as we would set up our own home away from home. We have stayed at dozens of rental properties and this one outshines them all. There a few elk that come to visit most evenings and mornings. We had 4 adults and 4 kids but we never felt cramped. We will definitely be returning.
